Miles also couldn't leave because of the news he had gotten so he is also still in Maren's room.

Astrid placed a small kiss on Maren's sleeping figure as she stood from the bed. She needed to go to the office that day but her friend's condition wasn't giving her the choice to.

"Can I come in to see Maren?" Astrid looked down at her and scoffed, "You caused her injury, why are you trying to act like you care?"
"It was a mistake and that was because of you, I heard how you made her stop working with me?"
