"Julian, see she has no right to tell you what to do," Mattie said, tugging on Julian's arm.
Then Tonia intervened, her expression stern. "I still disapprove of you being with my daughter, but I have no choice but to let her live with you since that's what she wants."
Tonia stepped closer to Julian, her voice low and warning. "If you ever make her regret this decision, I will make you pay."
Julian sighed and nodded. "I hope she regains her memory soon." he let out, already frustrated, as his gaze lingered in the direction Astrid had walked off.
"You can go home with Mattie. I will stay here with Astrid," Miles moved forward patting Julian's back as he said it.
Julian's eyes flashed with annoyance, but he nodded. "Fine. Make sure she's alright."
Miles, who had been watching, nodded and left, finding his way to where both ladies had gone.
Miles approached Astrid and Maren, who sat outside the scan room, looking anxious.
