I have put Ossus behind me. I'm continuing my journey to the center of the galaxy.
It was a calm time going through warp speed.
[Hermes, anomalies detected.]
"ATLAS, any idea what the anomalies are?"
[Not hyperspace whales, or gravity wells. Signature is small, but numerous.]
I then see a boney transparent hand slap onto my cockpit window. I hear more slaps all over my hull. Humanoid and alien forms begin manifesting. They're transparent and look ghastly.
"Initiating emergency warp jump evade."
I punch in new coordinates and re-fire the warp drive. I take a turn at warp speed onto another path. No worries for the fighter though. It is made strong enough to handle it.
[Hermes, anomalies are tracking you at warp speed. They will intercept in 15 seconds.]
"ATLAS, I need a black hole right now. Warp speed can't lose these things."
[Understood Hermes, new coordinates inputted from short-range scan. Initiate to reach black hole in 2 seconds.]
"Re-firing now..."
I re-fire the warp drive again and change direction directly into a black hole. I enter it and take the spatial tunnel to who knows where.
I come out the other side and immediately ask, "Did we lose them?"
[Affirmative, anomalies have been lost.]
"Good, note them down in case we encounter them again. They're dangerous, we need a countermeasure. Analyze all data we got.
[Understood Hermes, analysis underway.]
Now I just need to find out where in the galaxy I am.
I bring up my star map to compare. I actually know where I am. I'm in the Horuset system. This system is in the outer-rim. I never visited since it wasn't on the path to the core. Only one planet that may contain life. Exploration from the Hutt Cartel or the Republic never came here. The Hutts are aware of this system, but never bothered. The Republic has no idea it exists.
"Might as well take a look while I'm here."
[Hermes, massive Force energy readings coming from the entire planet. It is completely saturated with the Force. Alignment reads as triple digit negative numbers in most places. Other places are in the quadruple digit numbers. ATLAS designates this planet as perilous.]
"Well, that has never stopped me before ATLAS. I'm going in to land. Perils are a good thing for a traveler. It means the planet is interesting."
I pilot the fighter towards the planet's arid surface with calm caution.
