Chapter 74 - Where There's a Will Ch. 03 - Negotiations

I spent the rest of the day just enjoying all of my new possessions. It felt totally bizarre that everything in the house was now mine. I have lived here my whole life, but there had always been rules. Dad's rooms were his, and then Barbara took most of the rest. I had my room, and the living room sometimes, and the game room if no one else was around. But now, all of it was mine, every last inch. I walked around the house, wondering what I might want to do with rooms I had barely even been in.

Sadie had left after our little encounter earlier in the morning. She promised that she would come back soon for more. I still had mixed feelings about what we had done. It had felt incredible, that was for sure. She was hotter than anyone I had ever hooked up with, by a long shot. And she had sucked my cock like an absolute pro. But she was still the bitch that had tormented me for the last decade. I was torn between wanting to treat her the way she deserved, and wanting to have my way with the absolute bombshell that she is.

It had also made my situation with Barbara more complicated as well. I hadn't seen her since the night before, and I had no idea what she might be thinking about what happened between me and her daughter. And now that I could have Sadie, I wasn't sure what to do about Barbara. Sadie was younger, and hotter, and had made it clear that she would do whatever I wanted as long as I give her money.

And Sadie doesn't have to actually live with me. I can just fuck her, or have her blow me, or whatever I want really, and then send her back to her place. I don't have to deal with her any more than I want to. Barbara, on the other hand, wants to continue living in my house. At first that seemed like an awful idea, considering how she's always treated me, as well as the offer Sadie had made. But the more I thought about it, walking through my big empty house, the more I realized having Barbara around might not be so bad. If it was strictly a matter of sexual favors, Sadie would probably win. But Barbara could provide me with much more than just sex. I could make her my live-in house made, slash fuck doll. I would have to broach the subject carefully, but again, I had all the cards. If she didn't like it, she could go somewhere else, and I would still get to fuck her daughter.

I got a call from my sister in the afternoon, inviting me to dinner with the rest of the family. I hadn't talked to any of them in a long time, and it still felt weird, and a bit insulting the way everyone had been treating me after the will reading. Everyone's attitude had seemed to shift rather dramatically after they all found out I was now the rich one. But they were still my family, and I would have to adjust to my new position. I accepted the invitation, and when the time came, I got dressed in some of my nicest clothes.

I walked out to my old beat-up Honda, before realizing that I was now the owner of several much nicer cars. I went back inside and got the keys to the Benz, and then drove off to dinner in style. When I pulled into the parking lot behind the restaurant, I saw Kate trying to herd her little kids inside, while her husband Jeff stood there talking with Ron. Behind them were Ron's wife Allison and their daughter Amber, as well as our cousins Rebecca and Michelle, and Rebecca's boyfriend. It had been years since I had last seen any of them, and I was a little surprised at how good they all looked.

The last time I had seen Allison, their youngest had still been little. She had clearly been taking care of herself in recent years. She was in much better shape than I remember her ever being in before, and she looked good. Amber, who was only two years younger than me, and just starting college, looked even better. The last time I had seen her, she had still been an awkward, skinny, nerdy looking teenager. Something had clearly changed since then. She was still skinny, though now it was in a fit way. And she was tall, but no longer gangly. She looked like she must work out as much as her mother, if not more. She was wearing a fancy black dress that showed off a lot of leg, and her legs looked good, strong and long. I also couldn't help but notice that since the last time I saw her she had developed some pretty great tits. They weren't huge like Sadie's, but they were perky and round and rather intriguing.

I realized I was staring a little too hard at my niece as I pulled into a parking space, and quickly looked away. As I got out, Ron and Jeff walked over, looking at the car in approval.

"Enjoying your new spoils, eh?" Ron laughed as I got out.

"I was about to take my Honda," I said with a big grin. "Then I realized this baby is mine now."

"You're darn right it is," Ron nodded. "You sure made out kid. I'm happy for you."

"Thanks," I said with an uncontrollable grin. "I still can't believe it."

"I know, I never would have guessed the old man had it in him," Ron said. "But I'm glad he did. You deserve it Jackie."

"Thanks," I said again, though I could tell something was weird. "Um, can I talk to you, later?"

"Sure, what about?" Ron asked.

"Just, some stuff," I shrugged. "We can talk after dinner."

"Ok," Ron agreed. "Whatever you say Mr. big time. You're the big boss now."

"Come on, don't make it weird," I said with a shake of my head.

"It is weird," Ron chuckled. "My little brother is officially richer than I am. There's no way to not have that be weird."

"That's sort of what I want to talk to you about," I said quietly, so only he could hear. We had all begun walking towards the restaurant, and Jeff had been forced to help Kate with their kids. I was walking with Ron, behind Rebecca and Michelle. I couldn't help but notice that Michelle had an absolutely incredible ass, and it looked even better in the tight dress she was wearing.

"Sure Jackie, we'll talk later," Ron said, and then beckoned me inside. It was a nice steakhouse, dimly lit and smelling delicious. The place was totally packed, but Kate talked to the receptionist for a moment, and then she led us all to a big table in a nice, secluded corner. We all took our seats and began chatting and laughing as we looked through the menu. Ron was to my right, and Amber was to my left, with Michelle on her other side.

"Ok gang," Ron said to the table. "Let's try to keep the bill to a reasonable amount tonight. I'm not made of gold after all."

"I'll pay," I said quickly. Ron gave me a questioning look, saw I was serious, and then nodded in approval.

"Thanks Jack," he said. "In that case, I think I'll have a drink or two."

"Me too," Jeff laughed. "We'll have to teach the kid not to make that offer with this bunch."

"Get whatever you want, everyone. Seriously," I added. "It's my pleasure. I still feel kind of weird that dad left me everything."

"Thanks Jack, we appreciate it," Kate said, and everyone else agreed. I just nodded awkwardly. I still wasn't used to even being treated like one of the adults, let alone the rich guy in the family.

"That's really nice of you Jack," Amber said softly. I looked over, and saw her smiling at me. Her teeth looked shockingly white, and her brown eyes didn't look the way I remembered. She looked nothing like the kid I remembered her as.

"It's no problem," I smiled back. She was staring at me pretty intensely, and I turned away, not wanting to think about my niece in any sort of way I shouldn't. We all went back to chatting, mostly in smaller groups. Amber asked me about college, and I told her about my experience at UCLA. When the waiter came, Ron ordered for the table. I could tell he was ordering more expensive dishes than he ever normally would, and knew he was trying to fuck with me. But I didn't mind at all. It still felt totally bizarre that it was even my money, and I didn't mind treating the family to a nice dinner.

All of the adults got expensive glasses of wine, except Rebecca, who had been sober for a few years. Kate interrupted everyone's little conversations by clinking her fork against her glass, and when everyone fell silent, she raised her glass.

"To our little brother Jack," she said, smiling at me. "You were the only one who ever stood up for dad. And he clearly appreciated it. I certainly didn't expect it to turn out this way, but I'm so happy for you Jackie. I hope it makes up for all the hard times you had to put up with."

"To Jack," everyone said, raising their glasses to me.

"Guys, come on," I said uncomfortably. "This shouldn't be about me. To dad," I raised my own glass. "I know we didn't all get along with him all the time. And he didn't always do things the way we would have wanted. But he was a good man. He took care of us, and raised us. And in the end he left his money in the family, which means that he's still taking care of all of us. Whatever hard feelings there might have been, let them be buried with him. We should remember him for the good, hard-working man that he was. And he was good to mom until the day she died. So, to dad."

"To dad," Ron and Kate said, while everyone else said, "to Henry," or, "Uncle Herny." Or, "To grandpa."

"That was beautiful Jack," Kate said, and I could see her holding back tears. "And you're right."

"You're a good man, Jackie," Ron added. "I'm sorry we haven't spoken enough lately. I'll make sure that changes."

"Good," I nodded after taking a big sip of wine. "I hope you all come around more often now. Everyone is welcome to visit whenever you like. There's certainly room."

"Now that the hussy is out of the picture, I'm sure we will," Kate said after taking her own long sip. I didn't respond. I hadn't even considered that I would have to tell them that Barbara was still in the house. And I had absolutely no idea how to tell them that I might let her stay.

"Where do you think she is right now?" Ron laughed.

"Probably in some motel," Kate said, and I could hear the distain in her voice. "Where she belongs," she added.

"Man, the look on her face yesterday," Ron said, shaking his head with a big smile. "I don't think I'll ever forget that."

"Did you have any trouble with her?" Jeff asked. "I mean, she must have gone back to get some things."

"That's going to be pretty awkward," Ron laughed. "She's going to have to come back a few times probably, to get all of her stuff."

"Call us if you need any help with her Jack," Kate added. "We won't make you deal with her all yourself."

"Um, well, uh, actually, she hasn't moved out yet," I said, not quite sure where to look.

"What, you mean she slept there last night?" Ron asked, looking shocked. I just nodded, and saw that everyone at the table looked taken aback by that.

"She had a rough day," I shrugged. "She thought everything was going to go to her."

"Ya, but it didn't," Kate said angrily. "It's yours now. You don't have to let her stay there Jack. That would be insane. Don't let her bully you around. I know it must be weird, since she's been in a position of power over you since you were a kid. But she doesn't have any power anymore. Tell her she has to leave tonight, and if she tries to give you any trouble at all, call me. I'll straighten her out."

"I can handle it," I said. Now I knew I couldn't tell them anything. I was enjoying the way my siblings were treating me, and I didn't want to turn it all back for Barbara. Ron might understand, and even get a kick out of it, but Kate wouldn't. If she found out what I had already done, or had planned, she might end up treating me the way she had treated dad for the past ten years.

"Well Kate's right," Ron said. "We'll help you with it if you need. You shouldn't have to deal with her all by yourself. I'm sure it's weird for you. I mean, she's been your stepmom. For us it's just the girl dad married after mom died. But she is old enough to be your mom."

"Don't worry, I can handle it," I said again. I didn't want them getting involved. It would only make things weird, and difficult.

"And what about that daughter of hers," Kate said. "Hasn't dad been paying for her apartment for years now. And she didn't even come to the funeral."

"Ya, he's been giving her an allowance," I nodded, fearing where this might go. I was starting to realize that I needed to just lie until they all left town again. Once they all went back to their homes, I could just tell them I kicked Barbara out, and cut Sadie off.

"Well that's obviously over," Kate laughed, as if it were beyond a doubt that Sadie would be cut off. Which it should be. But they hadn't seen what I had seen. Kate might not ever get it. But if Ron saw the tits I saw, and got the blowjob I got, he would get it. Any guy would. But I knew I had to rely on secrecy now. What I was doing with them was shameful, and shameful things should remain secret.

"This could get complicated," Ron sighed. "Why don't you let me help you handle all of this before I leave Jackie."

"Don't worry about it, I can handle it all," I said, hoping they would let it go.

"They're going to flip out," Kate insisted. I noticed that her wine glass was empty. The waiter apparently did too, as he quickly brought her another. "You should let us handle them Jack."

"Trust me, it's better if I do it," I said. "I know that might sound weird, but I know them, and they know me. It will go better if I do it. Just, trust me."

"Ok, but call us if you need help," Ron said. I nodded, and then the subject thankfully changed. Rebecca began telling everyone about her new job, and I mercifully stopped being the center of the conversation. I was barely listening as she spoke. I was still trying to figure out how to get away with what I had already started without everyone finding out. When Amber leaned over and spoke to me, it startled me so bad I nearly spilled my glass of wine.

"Is Sadie still really pretty," Amber asked me, quietly enough so only I heard.

"Uh, ya, I guess she is," I said, knowing full well that she definitely was.

"It's too bad she isn't nicer," Amber said. "The last time I saw her she spilled a drink on my dress and then blamed me. And then her mom yelled at me. And then her mom and my dad got in a fight."

"Oh ya, I remember that," I nodded, recalling one of the many fights Ron and Barbara had gotten in over the years. "I didn't remember how it started though. Sorry to hear that."

"It's ok," Amber smiled. "That was years ago. I wouldn't even fit in that old dress anymore."

"It was that long ago, huh?" I said, unsure of what to say. The way Amber was looking at me was still making me uncomfortable. It made me wish she wasn't my niece.

"It was like three years ago," Amber said. "I was this tall back then. But I've grown in other areas, so it probably wouldn't fit."

"Um, ya, I suppose not," I said. It was hard to be sure, but it seemed like Amber had just referenced her boobs to me. I noticed Ron wasn't talking to anyone, and quickly turned to him.

"Hey Ron," I said, and he looked over at me. I could see in his eyes that he was also slowly getting drunk. "What I wanted to say earlier, its, uh, about dad's money."

"You mean your money," Ron corrected me.

"Well that's just it," I said. I was speaking low enough so only he could hear, although Amber may have been able to as well. "It shouldn't just be mine. I know he left it to me, but that's just because he was pissed at you. But you deserve it as much as I do. So does Kate."

"No we don't," Ron said bluntly. I was a little surprised at that. "We bailed on the old man and you didn't. All that shit you had to put up with, with his wife and her daughter. You earned it Jackie."

"He should have just left me the house," I said. "And split the money between the three of us. You guys have kids. Let me give you some."

"It's yours Jack," Ron said seriously. He sounded much sterner than I had expected. "You buying us all dinner like this, that's fine. And it's good of you. But that's your money."

"Ron," I started, and he quickly interrupted me.

"Jack, it's yours," he said, and I could tell he meant it. "I'll help you when you need it, not the other way around." I realized that I was actually making him mad by offering to give him money. Being the youngest, taking help from my brother and sister has always seemed totally normal. But I guess as the oldest, Ron didn't want my help.

"Ok, well, if you ever need anything at all, just let me know," I said. "Because it really isn't my money. Its dad's. And he was your dad too."

"I bailed on him years ago, you didn't. It's yours," Ron said. I could hear in his voice that the conversation was over. I just nodded, and Ron resumed his conversation with Jeff. A moment later the food came, and we all began digging in. It was all delicious, and we all ate way too much. I could see that several people were drinking too much as well, especially Kate.

When we were finally done, the waiter came over, and placed the bill in front of Ron. He looked down at it, smirked, and then handed it to me. I looked down as well, and realized why Ron and Jeff had been laughing earlier. I had never seen a restaurant bill with four digits before. I put it on my card, which didn't actually have all that much money in it. But I knew I would be moving things around soon. I made sure to tip well, and then we all left.

"You heading back to the big house all alone?" Kate asked me as she half stumbled her way to the car with her kids. Thankfully Jeff was not as drunk, and would be the one driving.

"Ya," I nodded. "I'll probably go deal with Barbara."

"You sure you don't want any help?" Ron asked again.

"I'm sure," I nodded. "It's mine to deal with, right?"

"That's right," Ron nodded. He looked surprised but impressed that I had put that back on him. "Good luck then kid."

"I'll be fine," I laughed. We all began our goodbyes as we got into our cars. I hugged Ron and Kate, as well as Ron's wife and the cousins. Amber stepped in and gave me a much tighter hug than I would have initiated. I glanced over at Ron, and saw him hugging Rebecca with his back to me. I made sure to step back from Amber before he saw, though not before I got a much better feel of her than I would have asked for.

I finally got back in my car, and drove back home. The whole ride home all I could think about was how I was going to get away with letting Barbara stay in the house. I knew I could get away with giving Sadie money. No one else would be looking at my finances. Ron might have, but he had refused. So it was all mine. No one would have to know anything. But Barbara remaining in the house was another story. If anyone ever visited, which I had given an open invitation for, they would find out pretty quickly. And then there would be questions I wouldn't want to deal with.

When I pulled into my driveway, I saw Barbara's Lexus already parked. I got out, and walked to the front door. As soon as I stepped inside, I saw Barbara sitting on the couch, apparently waiting for me. She looked pissed, and I wondered what I might be walking into. Yesterday had been the one and only time in our eleven-year relationship where she hadn't treated me like shit. And for a moment as I saw her glaring, I felt like a kid again.

"Your sister gave me a call," Barbara said, sounding ice cold.

"Oh, uh, sorry," I said as I shut the door behind me. "We were all out to dinner, and she got a little drunk."

"I could tell," Barbara scoffed. "She sure is high and mighty for someone getting shitfaced in front of her little kids."

"She wasn't shitfaced," I said, though I wasn't sure that was true. Kate had looked pretty drunk.

"Well she says I have to leave tonight," Barbara said. "She said that you asked her to tell me, and that if I don't leave, she'll make sure I go to jail tonight."

"She won't," I sighed. "And you won't. I didn't tell them about our little, arrangement, obviously."
