Chapter 123 - The Gate of Heaven

"Although you're weak in my eyes. You are considered strong in this world. As respect, I'll let you be the first to die by my pupil ability."

Dylan's double pupils turned even darker. A formless sword suddenly appeared in his hand.

This formless sword could change shape, change to any form, and its range directly depends on the range of his divine sense. Its sharpness depends on his realm.

This is only one of the abilities within his Ancestry, Human Double Pupils, that he had realized.

Formless like water, transparent like spring, extended outward like sharp tentacles that surrounded Elder Sol at every angle.

"Spare me! I know a lot of things about this world! I know a lot of secrets! I can help you..." In the face of death, Sol forgot about his pride. There was only the desire to live in his mind.

In a second, hundreds of thousands of holes appeared on the ground near Sol. He couldn't help but swallow. Any one of them could kill him.

Dylan deactivated his formless sword. "Well, it's a pity to kill someone with space & time abilities. From now on, you'll be my subordinate to assist me."

"To conquer this world?" Elder Sol trembled.

"Huh? Do you think I care about World Domination or something? With my current realm, nothing is of use to me in this world. Nothing can help to elevate my realm to the next realm."

Elder Sol swallowed. "What realm have you reached?"

"The ultimate pinnacle."

"Ultimate pinnacle? Great World Realm?"

"Yes, and I plan to go beyond that." Dylan answered.

*HISS!*

Elder Sol gaped in shock.

Great World Realm! This is the first time he heard about the realm of Great World. As someone who had lived for a thousand years, he knew more than the general populace. He was aware that the Great World realm, the myth on people's minds, indeed existed in the past and walked in this world.

'Great Realm? Is he perhaps deceiving me? But he doesn't have any reason to do that...'

Or there is? To scare him, remove thoughts of disobedience, and smoothly gain his allegiance?

However, Sol stared at the man in front of him. The aura he felt earlier, whether Great World or not, it doesn't matter. What he felt was the breath of death. He instinctively felt that Dylan could him with just a thought.

'I saw the Abbyss Ruler in the past when I was still an Ancestor expert. Even he doesn't have such a suffocating aura.'

As Sol thought of this, he didn't hesitate any longer. He kneeled before Dylan with his forehead kissing the ground.

"I can feel your sincerity. Since you're like this. Then, are you willing to become my disciple?" Dylan smirked.

"Disciple?" Elder Sol was dizzy, wondering if he heard it right.

After all, he was considered old even amongst the oldest in this world. In his lifetime, he had two masters who taught him everything he has in life. They were a thousand years older than him and were great experts. After they died, Sol didn't intend to accept the master in the future.

He had climbed to the top of the world. Competed with the best of the best and reached Supreme Realm. No one was qualified to teach him anymore aside from the Abbyss Ruler. Even then, his pride won't allow him. With his Time Dilation eyes, he has the confidence to escape from everyone.

But it changed after he met the monster in the young man's skin in front of him. Yes, in his opinion, Dylan was likely an old monster in the distance era who disguised himself as a reincarnation of a great expert from the Heavenly Realm. If not, how could one explain such an abnormal growth rate? From Saint to Realm of Great World?

As for does he believe in Reincarnation? There's nothing impossible in a world where mana exists and where a man can split the sea.

Dylan stared at Elder Sol coldly. "Don't you want to?"

"I want to!" Elder Sol shivered. Just now, he felt the aura of death.

"Call me master then." A smile appeared on Dylan's face. "Don't worry. I'll guide you on your path. The next thing you need to do is accumulate until you reach the bottleneck."

"Master!"

"Do you know what the bottleneck is in the Supreme Realm?"

Elder Sol shook his head. "There is only one Indra human and he hasn't publicized what the bottleneck is all about. He gate kept it from the rest."

"Such a selfish person." With a chuckle, Dylan went beside Sol, causing the latter to feel nervous.

"Relax would you? You're now my disciple. Why would I harm you?"

Dylan whispered.

At this time, Dylan shifted his gaze to the sky with his double pupils activated. His vision penetrated the clouds, and it began to zoom in.

Dylan saw a dark light, like a rift in the middle that wasn't visible to others. "My divine sense had picked up an anomaly in the sky. A dark rift. Do you perhaps know something about it?"

Elder Sol activated his eyes and looked in the same direction but he couldn't see anything. "I don't master. The power of your eyes is magnified by your realm that's why you're able to see it."

"When it comes to the dark rift, there's no records about that and it's the first time I've heard such a thing... But I have a wild guess."

Dylan's double pupils suddenly doubled in size, then his gaze bypassed the dark rift. A strong sensation of dizziness and his eyes felt hot.

In his sight, wasn't a black riff anymore. It was a blurry, gigantic gate towering over everything. Its size was enough to block the entire sky.

Blood seeped out from Dylan's eyes which made Sol beside him stop talking.

"What did you see?"

Dylan closed his eyes but there was a grin on his face. "The Gate of Heavenly Realm!"

Elder Sol was astonished at first but his face returned to normal after a few seconds. "No wonder... No one can see it. One needs enough power to locate..."

Sol was also convinced that Dylan was not lying about his realm. As he thought of this, he felt that it didn't feel that humiliating to become a disciple of such a person. Maybe it might also become a turning point in his life!
