Chapter 76 - Dylan's Idiocy

'Let's try the teleportation function.'

Dylan willed to appear beside the furthest red dot within the 500-meter monitoring range.

The surroundings change. Dylan smiled as he saw the dense fog around and the back of the 8th-grade mist monster who was currently sleeping.

Dylan was in a good mood. 'Really teleportation. Unfortunately, I need to enter the space dominion first every time to perform it. I hope in the future I can use it without the need to enter the space.'

Though it would suffice for now! It prevents others from camping or waiting to come out of space. Now, he could just change locations instead of being stationary because the Space Dominion couldn't move.

After all, once a situation where a strong expert chased him and forced him to hide in space. They could just wait for him to come out in the same spot.

Although Dylan can choose to stay there forever. Surely, the enemy won't waste time just to wait for him and force him to leave. But what if the enemy persisted and stubbornly wanted to wait for him?

Now, it prevented such trouble. He can teleport and move places. No longer the need to worry about ambush. Teleportation is one of the most reliable life-saving escape skills there is!

It will also make scouting and exploration easier and safer. He doesn't need to personally scout and could just use the monitoring range to discover enemies or even those hard-to-detect creatures in advance.

The monitoring range and map were too convenient! No matter what stealth. Nothing could escape his eyes. He was in the dark, and they were in the limelight waiting for him to assassinate them with teleportation.

Every movement, as long as they're in the monitoring range, can't be hidden from him! Information is power, as they say...

It's like he was blind in the past but now he could see! The practicality of the monitoring range provided by the Space Dominion had given him the initiative of every battle. No wonder, space dominion could be evaluated as a gold skill by the system.

'An eighth grade?'

With a thought, a blue rift appeared beneath the mist monster.

Dylan and the mist monster appeared inside the space dominion.

'Still sleeping?'

Dylan's realm was elevated to 7th grade, while the 8th-grade mist monster was demoted to 7th grade inside the space.

For him, killing opponents of the same realm isn't trouble at all. He could even kill three realms ahead of him now inside the space.

As Dylan thought of this. He threw a casual punch towards the mist monster.

BOOM!

The mist monster turned into a cloud of blood mist.

Dylan smiled as he heard the notification of exp again. Just as he expected! Only 7th to 9th grade could give him exp points anymore!

Those below his level do not give him exps anymore, no matter how much he kills. Well, similar in how it was in the game. After all, if you can still level up by killing creatures vastly weaker than yours, won't anyone massacre low-level creatures just to level up? Also, it would make leveling up easier if that's the case.

'Show my innate talent panel.'

-Talent-

Solo Leveling Halo (Gold), Space Holy Physique (Purple), Berserker's Fury (Purple), Vigorous Body (Blue), Swift Feet (Blue), Strong Body (Green), Demonic Nature (Green), Tough Physique (White-Upgradable)

Upgrade Points: 18

Dylan chose to upgrade the tough physique.

-Talent-

Solo Leveling Halo (Gold), Space Holy Physique (Purple), Berserker's Fury (Purple), Vigorous Body (Blue), Swift Feet (Blue), Strong Body (Green), Demonic Nature (Green), Juggernaut Body (Green)

Upgrade Points: 8

'Hmm... So it takes 10 points to upgrade a white innate talent to green? Then how much is needed to upgrade from green to blue? Or blue to purple? I need to investigate this more...'

Juggernaut Body (Green): You have an extremely tough body. Your skin cells and muscle fiber possessed the quality of the juggernaut. Your muscle insertion has been optimized to far exceed that of normal creatures.

'Not bad. Not bad at all.' Satisfied, Dylan nodded and closed the panel.

He was excited to accumulate more upgrade points and try to upgrade a purple innate talent as soon as possible!

'Wait... I should find a misty monster with purple talent again and just imprison it in my space, not kill it.'

'I can choose to keep them by my side and challenge them every day to farm upgrade points from them daily.' As Dylan thought of this, he felt that it was indeed feasible.

'Damn, why didn't I think of it before?' Dylan felt regretful about the eight mist monsters that he killed from the outer layer. Those are steady sources of upgrade points!

How could he kill them!? He just needs to imprison them in space and challenge them every day for upgrade points!

'Damn... I'm fucking stupid. An idiot!' Dylan clicked his tongue.

It seems he needs to find a purple or even gold talent to increase his IQ. His stupidity can't continue anymore.

'Obviously, the panel had already told me that I only needed to defeat them... Well, there's no point crying over spilled milk. At least I realized this at this time. If I only realized it later than now. Then that would indeed be a lot worse.'

'What I need to do now is imprison every creature or beast that had purple talent and above in my space. I can use them to have a steady source of upgrade points. Hehe, good luck to those creatures. They need to receive daily beatings from me.'

One month went by, and Dylan roamed the entire nook and cranny of the inner layer. At first, he could only kill ninth grade one by one in space and still struggled. He even got injured in the lower back and almost got paralyzed in one of the confrontation against a 9th grade due to carelessness.

He chose to fight the 9th grade outside the space just to try it (no blessing of space). It made him realize the gap between 6th grade and 9th grade! Even though he could fight above his realm, 9th grade still proved to be too much outside of space. In the end, he decided to fight them in the space dominion after that day.

However, the more he killed, the more he leveled up and the less he struggled. Most of the time, Dylan utilizes his monitoring range to explore, locate, and assassinate them with teleportation.

This method proved to be effective. On the 26th day of the month, he found a mist monster with purple talent and kept him inside the space for upgrade points. He challenged the monster every day until the monster began to doubt life.

Why does the human keep him to fight him but not kill him?

Dylan obtained 4 upgrade points after just four days of "sparring" with the monster.
