'The average strength in the capital of Zhao steps at Noble Realm. Afar from Congyun City with the strongest on the only 6th to 8th grade of Awakened Realm.'
However, Dylan knew that the upper echelons of Congyun Mirror were at least at Saint Realm.
On the other hand, the grand dukes, the king, and upper echelons of Zhao Kingdom, at least in the Beyonder Realm, with the king being the strongest...
'To be considered really powerful here. I need to become a Beyonder or at least a Saint. Noble Realm experts just loiter around the streets in this Capital. Beings that could kill me walk everywhere here. I am still too weak.' Dylan couldn't help but lament.
However, he also knew that everyone who could enter the capital was the cream of the crop in the entire Zhao Kingdom. This comforted him a little.
'In Congyun City, being a Saint was enough to let you have a high position of power. An upper echelon. Once I reach Saint, I shall join their ranks. With my Solo-Leveling Halo, it won't be a problem. It's just a matter of time.'
Dylan smirked. 'The players had to humble themselves in front of me. That would be fun...'
Just like that, Dylan continued his walk. He saw a big building with a galaxy theme designed with high-tech glasses. 'This world's technological advancement is so fucking confusing.'
On the virtual sign board, it displayed the name "The Galaxy Cream Auction House". It gave Dylan the idea to sometimes visit it. For now, he has a goal in mind that he needs to accomplish. After a few more minutes of strolling, he saw an item shop called "Primordial World Origin Shop". The name of the store sounds overbearing.
Dylan saw a few men lined up on what seemed to be the glassware at the front, which displayed the shelves. It featured the top items of the shop.
Curious, Dylan walked towards it. Then he heard a few men's conversation.
"There's nothing new today. It seems the shop was out of stock after the King's Steward bought the Emperor Set items."
"That's right. Although the ones in these top features are still good. They're not extraordinary enough to garner everyone's attention."
"I hope they feature high-quality experience stones soon. For sure, everyone would fight for them."
As Dylan heard a familiar term in the game "Experience Stones." He immediately reminisced about the books he had read in the past.
So, what is the experience of stone? Basically, they're this world's spiritual stones. The warriors and mages alike use experienced stones to level up. Yes, it's one way to level up aside from constantly killing creatures.
Obviously, how would others level up? Just through killing? One can level up even by killing their own kind. The existence of experience stones prevented every one from killing each other to become stronger. Experience stones are valuable resources and currency. The higher the quality of the stone, the higher the amount it contains, and the easier one would level up.
Of course, the absorption efficiency varies among individuals. It depends on one's talents and constitution. However, the majority of the population would rather kill to level up because of how expensive experience stones are. Even the low-quality ones.
Only truly wealthy people could afford them, like those aristocrats and royalties.
Experience stones originate from heaven and earth. One could also mine them from Experience Stone Mines. Some places, on the other hand, are naturally rich with experience aura and give birth to experienced stones.
Even now, Dylan hasn't even encountered a low-quality experience stone. Even in the shop of Congyun Mirror, there's no stock. One could see how precious this resource was. Dylan would rather grind exps by killing monsters. Yes, it's risky, but it's free!
If you're afraid of your life and hates killing or fighting. One can live cowardly and still becomes stronger by absorbing experience stones. The premise is you are fucking wealthy and constitution has an excellent absorbtion speed.
Still, Dylan had to admit that leveling up through the absorption of experience stones is really more efficient than killing monsters. Nah, it's 10 times faster! The premise was you have enough experience stones, and the quality is good.
Just like that, Dylan lined up with the few men who just spared him a glance and lost their interest as they saw that he was just a third-grade Awakened.
Dylan looked at the featured items displayed on the glass shelves and his mouth couldn't help but water.
There are actually two gold-quality items: a pair of gloves and a mirror. Then, in the middle, there was platinum-quality armor!
'Just how high. Do these three bastard's standards!?'
Dylan used probed on them and looked at their panel. Then he understood... These three in front of him are Noble Experts!
'Damn it! Noble experts are like chickens and dogs here. They're everywhere!'
'Their equipment should be of gold quality as well.'
In his mind, how could Noble Experts settle with just silver-quality equipment?
Such experts are likely rich from killing high-level monsters and undertaking difficult tasks that meet their strength.
Dylan immediately withdrew himself from the line. Better not provoke them.
Dylan walked past a lot of establishments "Fountain of Err," "Ronald's Plaza," "Heathens Zoo," "Central Police" "Joyboy's Flowery Pavilion," and Dylan finally reached his destination, "Teleportation Void Array Station"
When he saw the familiar simplistic building. He began to remember when he first saw this building in the game. One would doubt if it's really a Teleportation Array Station.
Dylan went inside the building. The walls inside had paintings of ordinary trees and birds. There's also a colorful canvas. With zero appreciation for art, Dylan's gaze landed on an array of circles guarded by two ordinary NPC.
There are ten array circles with different labels, such as "Starry Night City," "Black and Blue Mountain," etc...
Dylan headed to the Misty Plain teleportation array. The two ordinary NPC greeted Dylan with a standard business smile.
"Good afternoon, sir. How may we help you?" The two said in sync.
Dylan smiled. "Misty Plain please..."
"That would be 5 gold coins, sir. We also accept experience stones."
'Still expensive as fuck.' Dylan's mouth twitched. However, it was reasonable because the Misty Plain is far. One would take one and a half years on foot and six months on carriage. For Dylan, time is more valuable now.
Suddenly, a rift appeared in front of Dylan, spitting 5 gold coins. Dylan scanned the contents of the void cube, and there were only 200 silver coins left. He's a pauper again!
The two NPCs smile widened as they received the five gold coins. Dylan walked in the center of the array with pain in his heart after spending.
