Dylan looked at the corpse of the Hobgoblin thoughtfully.

Now, his STR, VIT, and AGI reached a certain level that he could feel his body stronger than ever. On the other hand, due to the life-and-death situation, Dylan was left with no choice but to pour all their free attributes into intelligence. Due to this, his mana reached 620 units and the regeneration rate of mana was faster.
Not to mention, the damage to skills now was frighteningly high. He could burn goblins to crisps with his Fire Body due to his now high intelligence.
"BLEGHAHCHISZHUS!!"
Just as Dylan is deep in thought. He heard the goblins cry out gibberish words. They cheered as they saw their dead leader. Now, they're free. They don't need to follow the Hobgoblin's orders!
The goblins looked at the Orochi who was in a weak state with fear. Then, fear turned into a vicious expression. They knew that they had to take this opportunity to attack now that Orochi was weak.
"Blurgejsu!!" One goblin raised his sword to the sky and shouted. He brought down his sword and rushed towards Dylan and the others.
Kenjaku's face turned ugly. He looked at the Orochi who couldn't even stand: "Not good! Without Orochi, we'll be done for!" Then a determined expression appeared on his face. "Sorry, we'll have to leave you or we'll die.
Orochi just gave Kenjaku a deep look but he didn't speak. He only closed his eyes not caring about the incoming goblins.
"No! We won't leave anyone!" Kevin fiercely protested.
What a joke! How could he leave their leader behind? Orochi used everything he had just killed the Hobgoblin. The most dangerous threat to them. Now that push comes to shove they didn't have a choice but to give up on him? Kevin can't bear to do such a thing.
Hank, the scarred warrior, stepped forward in front of Orochi, ready to face the goblins. "Kenjaku, how can you easily give up on your comrades? You're a really cold-blooded bastard. We've known each other for five years but you haven't changed at all. Is there no place for us brothers in your heart?"
"Stupid! Don't be naive! Do you think I want to leave our leader? We just don't have a choice! I won't die for another man's sake. Why would I? I'm not righteous to do that. You'd rather die to save that arrogant prick of a leader?"
Kenjaku snorted.
Hank and Kevin didn't know what to say. After all, Orochi was really too arrogant and always thought that everyone was inferior to him. Although Hank didn't like this attitude of his leader. The life and death experience they had together made their bond stronger.
In just a few moments, Kenjaku finally couldn't take it anymore and ran away in the opposite direction while shouting. "You choose to be heroic. I've tried to persuade you guys. Now, don't blame me for wanting to live!!"
"Bastard!!" Kevin couldn't help but curse. In the end, the goblins finally completely surrounded them with no hope of escape.
Hank and Kevin sighed bitterly. Then both of them gave Dylan a look of confusion.
"Why haven't you run away? It's fine if you want to escape like him."
Hank chuckled. "We choose to die with our leader because we've known and followed him for a long time..." "You know, we won't blame you if we tried to leave. After all, you don't have a responsibility to accompany us to death."
"We've only known you for a few days..." Kevin continued Hank's words with a chuckle.
Then Hank and Kevin both sat beside Orochi threw their weapons, and closed their eyes.
"You guys could accept death calmly and choose to not run away like Kenjaku. You guys are admirable." Dylan said with emotion.
Hank smiled warily and looked at the goblins that were licking their lips walking to them with their blades, ready to slaughter them. "There's no need to resist. We don't have mana anymore. No energy to fight. It would be a futile resistance."
"We would rather die as brothers in the battle than live as traitors to our leader." Kevin smiled.
Dylan could only sigh. He couldn't help but feel in awe. If it was him, he wouldn't hesitate to follow Kenjaku. Save Orochi? What a fool! Life is the most important!
Orochi swept his gaze at Kevin and Hank softly as he heard their words and let out a sigh. However, he still didn't speak.
As for why he didn't run away? Dylan smirked. Of course, he won't do such stupid things as sacrificing his life for others nor accompany others from death.
Suddenly, the goblins stopped at their pace. One of the goblins that was about to behead Hank with his sword froze.
'Huh? Why didn't it kill me?' Hank looked at the blade near his neck and swallowed. Just one more push, his head would roll to the ground.
ROARRRR!!!
Hank and Kevin became even more confused as they saw the supposed-to-be "dead" Hobgoblin stand up vigorously as if injected with chicken blood.
The missing parts of the body caused by Orochi's attacks visibly healed. From zero to ten! The missing flesh and muscle cells unreasonably regenerate.
Everything, even the head that was decomposed out of existence grew out of its neck! Such a scary, unbelievable scene made them shudder.
"How is this possible?" Orochi became solemnt. "Did the God of Death intervene? No, I can't feel death energy here... It's not him"
In just a minute, the Hobgoblin was back in his full state with no injuries. Then, it looked at Dylan, then at the goblins, and roared.
The goblins quickly ran towards the Hobgoblin and bowed. Then, the Hobgoblin and the 150 goblins walked away.
"How did that monster survive? And why did it leave? Doesn't he want to kill us?" Hank and Kevin had the same question.
Orochi spoke at this time. "It couldn't possibly survive my attacks. It rose from the dead."
Orochi was also confused. As the incarnation of Sun God, he knew that only Death God could perform such a thing. However, he couldn't feel any interference coming from divine beings at all. It left him clueless.
On the other hand, Dylan had a smile on his face. Of course, he was the culprit. Now, the Hobgoblin was actually housed by his soul fragment. From now on, it would be called Hobgoblin Dylan.
