A crow flying in a dark sky not because it was night time but because it was the sky of a battlefield full of smoke and ash flapping its wings traversing the land looking for food.
As the crow passed a mountain, it saw the ruins of what seemed like a giant city that was once full of life. The only thing left was falling houses. Even the glorious castles were in shambles, and the streets were full of skeletons that belonged to humans of all ages.
The crow continued flying for a few more minutes but it grew tired because of its already weak body from hunger so he decided to rest on a tree branch he found a dark tree that was still standing but looked like life was drained from it and once he put his little weight on it crumbled.
The crow jumped afraid of it as the tree turned into dust in a second and this doesn't include the tree alone but the world itself is crumbling.
After more time passed the crow still searching the dead land finally found a battlefield he came down looking for a single body but all he found were millions of skeletons that belonged to all kinds of races.
A familiar smell attracted the crow and flapped his wings as fast as he could there he rested on a barely standing tree branch and saw a deer that was eating something and that thing was human meat.
The deer was ripping and tearing through the dead body not leaving anything the once harmless animal became a carnivore and not only deer but all the animals became meat eaters and sometimes they resorted to eating their own.
The crow stayed there waiting and hoping that the deer would leave him anything and suddenly the deer stopped eating and looked directly at the crow with his pale eyes and mouth full of blood.
The deer rushed at the crow like a wild dog trying to eat it the crow was startled and flapped strong with his wings which made the tree crumble and give him a cover for escape.
And when all hope seemed lost for the crow a dead body lying on the ground untouched he immediately flayed to it and landed on it but something was weird about this body because it still had its weapons and armor and they were not taken by either comrades or scavengers.
The crow felt something he hadn't felt for a long time he felt warmth.
The concepts of heat and cold did not exist anymore in this world there was a time when it was too hot and another when it was too cold and maybe it was the world's way of retaliating against its destruction but when it didn't work the world just would quite living behind just an unbearable feeling of emptiness.
Because of how hungry it was it didn't pay attention so the crow did notice the heartbeat of the body and before the crow could run a spear penetrated its body killing it on the spot.
The soldier rose up grabbed the crow's body ran as fast as he could and hid behind a rock after making sure that no one was following him "Finally after so long a proper meal " the soldier started eating the crow like an animal not leaving even the bones.
"Now I can rest even for a second without the pain of hunger, " The soldier said while laying his back on the rock to rest he wanted to cry from happiness but his worn-out eyes looked like they belonged to a corps and could not shed tears anymore.
"I must not let them find out what I have done or my fate will be worse than this crow, "The soldier said with frightened expiration making sure to clean his armor and spear from the blood and even washing his mouth with dirt from the ground to hide the smell of the crow.
"I have to get back before they notice that I am not at my post," the soldier said and started walking back to his hideout which was far from the camp and used to notify the camp of any surprise attack.
the soldier using magical binoculars said " fuck this job all I do is watch this dead land waiting for my death " he squeezed his binoculars and said " Do they take me for an idiot as soon as I use the signal the intruders will kill me instantly so I am basically a one-time use siren " the soldier said with frustration.
" but let's look at the good angel at least I dont have to stay at the camp and to be a replaceable one-time use siren is a thousand times better than staying at the camp as a low-level soldier," the soldier said while making a little smile.
the sun was gone and the moon appeared and with that, the soldier's break consisting of 1 hour every day started " Finally the best part of the day I hope I dream of a beautiful lady today " the soldier said while lying down.

The sound of a giant explosion awakened the soldier who grabbed the signaling tool and ran outside " I guess that's it for me today is the day I will die " the soldier thought to himself.
with a big smile filling his face " Finally I will leave this shitty world for good I hope the afterlife is as good as these priests say well I guess nothing worse than this world even hell will be better " the soldier said while getting ready to signal.
but his hand stopped moving and his mouth was wide open his eyes did not believe what he was seeing the sky just split open inside was the very primordial material that was used to make reality itself.
the light was so much that it illuminated the whole area by around 5 kilometers.
" Just what's happening am I still dreaming I asked for a nice lady, not a cosmic event," the soldier said as he returned to his senses threw away the signal device, and said, "I guess there is no need for the signal anymore ".
the light started to come back to the crack in the sky and the land became dark again suddenly the ground started to shake heavily like it was going to split and a falling star fell from the crack and hit the ground.
" what just happened ? " the soldier asked.

"it's not time to lose focus i have to get whatever fell from the sky because maybe this is my chance to change my life, " the soldier said after slapping himself hard.

as the soldier was running toward the crash site the crack started to close and everything seemed like it was going back to normal.
the soldier stopped in confusion at the crash site " You get to be kidding me I heard that the artifacts can be anything but not this " he said while looking at the hole the crash site made.
as the dust cleared it revealed a naked handsome man with an athletic body who seemed like his 25-year-old human in his features with very white skin and hair that seemed like it was made from gold.
the naked man opened his eyes which were similar to his hair golden in color reflecting the image of the soldier.
