ARMANDS' POV
I stood at the rooftop of the mansion with its panoramic view of the city's glittering skyline, which was a fortress of opulence and power. I had retreated to my private sanctuary, hoping to find solace in the familiar luxury of my surroundings but tonight, the sanctuary felt like a gilded cage, heavy with tension and brewing fury. An hour later, I went to my study and settled in to catch up with reading.
There was a knock on the door and then Max walked "Am sorry to bother you on a weekend Chairman Armand."
"Spit it out Max" I responded.
