I stood across from Senator Liam, watching the color drain from his face as I delivered the news. "Odon, the leader of the Budapest Mafia, is already in Salt Lake City. He's staying in the Hamptons."
Liam's eyes widened, his shock palpable. "What the hell is he doing in Utah?" he demanded, his voice sharp with urgency.
I took a deep breath and leaned in, lowering my voice. "We lost most of his men who went to track down the missing money in Comoros. Only two made it out alive, and even Sherlene failed to keep tabs on the Calabria Mafia hacker. Odon's here because things went south, and now he's making moves."
Liam slammed his fist on the desk. "This is bad, Gregory—really bad! If the Utah business community gets wind that Odon is here, do you have any idea the kind with which we will be dealing?"
