One day later, Jessel came rushing into my office, her face flushed with excitement.
"Armand called us for dinner," she exclaimed, barely able to contain her enthusiasm. "He said we shouldn't miss it!"
I leaned back in my chair, raising an eyebrow. "Is Sean joining us?"
At that, Jessel blushed and quickly looked away, avoiding my gaze. After a brief pause, she nodded, her cheeks still pink. I could not help but smirk.
"Alright then," I said, teasingly. "I'll bring Phyllis over."
Jessel grinned, her eyes lighting up as she rushed out of my office, giggling like a child. I shook my head, amused at her giddy reaction.
Hours later, Phyllis arrived at the office, calm and collected. She walked over to my desk and handed me the files I had requested from HR on the technical team. I glanced at them briefly before handing them back.
