MAX POV
As I sat in Eli's apartment, I watched Chairman Armand process everything I had briefed him on. His sharp eyes narrowed as he listened, nodding when I mentioned Milan being followed and how I had to spend the night at her place to ensure her safety. When I finished, he leaned forward, his hands clasped together.
"I've already instructed Caleb, Maurice, and Kaveesha to take action," he said, his voice low but firm. "They're working on hacking into Gregory's accounts. We need to shut down those accounts under Eli's name in the Comoros Islands before things spiral out of control."
I paused for a moment, considering the potential risks of his plan. "Before they make any moves, I should reach out to a contact I have in the bank," I offered. "It might give us a head start, and it'll keep us from triggering any unnecessary alarms."
He studied me for a moment, weighing the suggestion before giving a single nod. "Do it. We can't afford any missteps."
