The phone rang late Monday evening, breaking the fragile quiet in my office. It is Angela. I was not expecting her to call—especially not this late. Angela was working in Armand Inc. and was a mole I had planted in Armand Inc. to keep an eye on things and report to me of any AI development in the algorithms that Armand Inc. developed.
I answered, and her voice came through, tight with tension. "President Gregory, I heard something you need to know. I overheard Kaveesha the CFO talking to Max the head of security earlier. They were discussing information that was delivered to Armand Inc. It has to do with your... money laundering."
A chill ran down my spine, though I kept my voice calm. "What exactly did they say?"
"They didn't go into detail. But Kaveesha seemed rattled, and Max... well, he sounded like he was preparing for a move." Angela added on
