Chapter 18 - Chapter 17

Ice watched as Sara's face suddenly contorted in concentration, and a burst of energy shot out from her palm, arcing into her training altar. The altar reacted instantly, glowing even brighter than before.

Sara opened her eyes, looking satisfied. "Did you see that?" she asked, her voice filled with excitement.

Ice nodded, a smile on his face. "I did," he said. "You increased your energy significantly."

Sara grinned, clearly proud of herself. "It was like a burst of energy just exploded out of me," she said. "I could feel it building up inside me for a while, just waiting to be released."

"That's right," Ice said, his tone becoming more serious. "The key is to focus and control your energy, to channel it through the training altar. The more you practice, the stronger you'll become. And remember, the most important thing is to stay disciplined and push yourself."

Sara nodded, her expression turning more determined. "I know," she said. "I'm going to practice every day until I can control my energy as well as you do."

Ice chuckled, feeling a twinge of pride that his friend was so determined to improve. "You have the discipline and determination," he said. "I have no doubt you'll progress quickly. But don't forget to take breaks as well. Overworking yourself isn't healthy."

Sara nodded again. "I'll remember that," she said, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. "I don't want to overexert myself and end up stalling my training."

"Exactly," Ice said, his voice softening again. "The key is to find a balance. You need to push yourself, but not to the point of burnout. We're in this for the long haul, so we have to pace ourselves."

Sara nodded, seeming to ponder his words for a moment. "You're right," she said eventually. "It's important to pace ourselves and not push ourselves too hard, or we'll end up hurting ourselves in the long run."
