Chris and Emily sat at a cosy corner table in the dimly lit restaurant, the soft glow of candles flickering between them. The sounds of clinking glasses and quiet conversation filled the air, but for them, the world outside seemed distant, like background noise in their private bubble.

Emily tilted her head, her brow furrowing slightly. "Jessica? What about her?"
Chris hesitated for a moment, as if weighing how much he should share. "She's living with the pack now. "
He had explained everything that had been going on in the pack.
