Chereads / Female Cultivation Experience / Chapter 7 - Respect

Chapter 7 - Respect

Her body was sore all over. After this intense day of practice and cultivation.

With a satisfied grin from ear to ear she started to head towards the living quarters. On her way, she kept admiring the beauty of the sect. Everything was exquisitely crafted and properly maintained.

She passed by a lot of small gardens. That is when she saw a beautiful lush peach tree.

It was as if she was struck with a hammer in the stomach that she noticed the agonising hunger.

'I haven't eaten all day. I am starving.' with hungry eyes she stared at the juicy peaches.

A quick glance around. No one in sight. Without shame, she hopped over the wooden fence.

Like Sun Wukong himself, she started to devour these poor peaches.

'Mmh, those are the best peaches I have ever eaten. Huh? What is that sensation in my stomach?' The peach thief wondered.

A warm pulsing current emanated from her stomach, spreading all over her body. The soreness of her body slowly vanished.

'Amazing. Everything here is amazing. Those are certainly no normal peaches I bet they have Qi in them. The Qi must be healing my sore muscles. I better take as many as my bag can hold for tomorrow's training session.' she decided.

With her stomach and pouch, full to the brim. She continued to skip along the road until she arrived at her quarter.

She pushed the wooden door open and stepped inside. The room was illuminated by two candles on her roommate's nightstand.

Before Kira had fully entered she heard a voice that let her smile fade.

"What are you doing back here?" Kresa asked with unhidden disgust.

Kira turned her head slowly towards Kresa and saw she wasn't alone another pampered-looking girl sat on Kresa's bed.

She ignored the new girl who also had a disgusted look on her face.

"I live here. Or have you already forgotten?" Kira answered.

"Is that the peasant? Kresa?" the now smug-looking girl asked.

"Yes, and I told her to not come back. So what are you doing here?" Kresa replied.

"I couldn't care less what you told me. If you don't want to be here find yourself a new accommodation." Kira answered, slowly getting irritated. Uneasiness spread in her chest. 'Why can't they leave me alone? Never show weakness Kira.' she told herself.

Both girls started to chuckle.

"Me? You want me to leave. Peasant, you have forgotten your place. If a noble, your betters, orders you to do something you have to respect it or it will have consequences." Kresa chuckled.

Anger and a sense of inferiority rose in her heart.

"You think you are better than me? Consequences? How? Will your Daddy come here? That is if he isn't too fat to leave his castle. You want me to leave? Make me!" Kira challenged. Voice dripping with venom. Her eyes glowed coldly.

"You whore!" Kresa growled, as she stood up and walked towards Kira.

*Slap* she slapped Kira in the face. "How dare you insult my father."

Kira reflexively flinched but was a little bewildered.

'That didn't hurt at all. Not even stung a little. She must have not reached the first stage,' she concluded.

'All my life I got beaten and pushed around because I had nothing. No parents, no money, no worth. But now I have a sliver of power. I polished it the entire day. If I don't use it why cultivate?' she reasoned. 'This morning I promised myself to change. The old powerless Kira is dead! I am now a cultivator on the path to immortality. And I will be cursed if I let anyone disrespect me like that!'

A sinister smile spread on Kira's face.

"Correct me if I am wrong, but you haven't cultivated at all. Right?" she threateningly questioned.

Without waiting for a reply. Kira vanished and appeared in front of Kresa. Who couldn't even register what happened.

Her eyes glistered coldly.

Kira executed the whispering palm flawlessly.

Kira's palm connected as gently as a spring breeze with Kresa's shoulder. She could feel how the force of the strike flowed into the noble girl. Kira felt every single bone in the girl's left shoulder area shattering, from the ribs, over the shoulder joint into the arm.

A blood-curdling scream ripped through the night. Kresa was flown into her bed, splittering the wooden frame and sprawling her friend on the ground.

A sadistically satisfied grin crept on Kira's face.

"What have you done?" the frightened girl asked, as she hurried to Kresa's side only to see the mangled left part of her upper body. Arm twisted unnaturally.

She stared at Kira horrified.

"Delivering Consequences," Kira answered with fake innocence.

"With one thing you were right. You should respect your betters." Kira drawled. Then she vanished again appearing eye to eye with Kresa's friend. Kira's emerald eyes stared deeply into the frightened blue ones.

"Take her and get lost. Or you both will die here tonight." Kira smiled sweetly.

Without hesitation, the girl tried to drag the wailing Kresa outside. But struggled with her small frame.

Kira walked over and grabbed Kresa's hair, which made her scream even more. Dragged her by the hair through the room to the door. Opened it and threw her on the street.

"What's your name?" Kira asked the girl.

"Meria," she answered meekly.

"You are welcome, Meria. Now leave." Kira said with threatening attention to Meria's name.

The moment Meria hurried through the door Kira threw it closed.

She sat on her bed her hands shaking. Releasing a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"Cultivation is awesome!" she exclaimed.
