Adzima pov
After the brightness from Fadli's body faded away, we noticed some changes in Fadli's appearance. Fadli's outfit, which was originally black, turned into a mixture of white silk apparel decorated with some gold embellishments. Two pairs of white wings were visible on Fadli's back, and the sword Fadli held was shining like gold. His hair and eyes also turned golden.
Zalgo:"That form... impossible!"
When Zalgo saw Fadli's appearance, he became quiet with astonishment, just like us.
Fian:"Just how many more secrets did you hide from us, captain?"
Fian:"So, are you from the same race as Adzima?"
Adzima:"No Fian, that form looks kind of different"
Qori:"What do you mean?"
Before I could respond, Zalgo fired several energy balls at Fadli again, but Fadli easily split them with his sword. Zalgo then yelled in anger and frustration at Fadli.
Zalgo:"Impossible! Impossible! Impossible!"
Zalgo:"It's impossible for a mere human like you to use that form!"
Fadli was unconcerned with Zalgo's outburst, and he immediately dashed in front of Zalgo and punched him in the stomach.
Fadli:"Nothing is impossible"
The strike caused Zalgo's body to be thrown quite far from him.
Zalgo:"Tch!"
Zalgo:"Come to me, Soul Devourers!"
Many magic circles then appeared around Zalgo, and more Soul Devourers emerged from it. Zalgo then pointed at Fadli menacingly, threatening him.
Zalgo:"This time, I will make sure I end you right here right now!"
We quickly stood behind Fadli and prepared to fight Zalgo and the Soul Devourers. Fadli then smirked, taunting Zalgo even more.
Fadli:"Come if you can, don't just bark"
Zalgo commanded the Soul Devourers to attack us, but Fadli swiftly dug his sword into the ground and a massive wall of light instantly materialized in front of us, setting aflame all of the Soul Devourers that try to past it.
Zalgo:"Tch! As expected for the Light Descendant"
Aditya:"Light Descendant?"
Adzima:"I remember now!"
Dwiyan:"Remember what?"
Adzima:"Fadli's form is the Light Descendant form"
Elsa:"And? What is the Light Descendant?"
Adzima:"It was an ancient legend among the angels, I never thought that it was real"
Adzima:"Long ago, when the world was shrouded in darkness, a boy was chosen to be The Light Descendant. The boy was blessed by the lights themselves, radiating with a power that surpassed all others. With its powers, he could wield the true power of the lights, the pure lights"
Adzima:"The last time the Light Descendant was seen was when he..."
Fadli:"Princess!"
Fadli stopped me before I could finish the story. I then realised that we are completely surrounded by lots of soul devourers.
Anjas:"Shit! Just how many of these faceless monsters are there?"
We quickly use our powers to make walls around us, just like Fadli.
Arvin:"Captain, can you deal with Zalgo? Leave these Soul Devourers to us"
Fadli:"What about the mind-controlled heroes?"
Tetron:"We already defeated them and sealed them somewhere safe"
Adzima:"How did you guys do it?"
Ina:"We used the plans from the computer, we only lost against Zalgo"
Fadli:"Impressive"
Fadli:"Fine, I will fight Zalgo"
Qori:"Adzima, you also go and help him"
Adzima:"Okay"
Fadli:"Good luck, guys"
Fadli and I fly towards Zalgo while leaving the others behind to fight the Soul Devourers. Upon noticing our approach, Zalgo attempts to strike us with his magic, but we are able to evade his assault and land safely in front of him.
Zalgo:"Tch!"
Fadli:"Give up, Zalgo!"
Zalgo:"Shut up! You talk too much Light Descendant"
Zalgo becomes even more upset, and he fires more of his magic at us. I quickly created a dome of light to protect us from his attacks.
Fadli:"Fine then"
Fadli then dashed towards Zalgo to attack him. Zalgo tried to run, but I controlled the ground to trap his feet.
Zalgo:"Fuck!"
Fadli was able to slash Zalgo's body with his sword, but at the same time, Zalgo created a small bomb that exploded immediately, forcing Fadli to back up so his slash was not too deep, and Zalgo was able to free his feet from the ground.
Fadli then rushed to attack Zalgo again while I helped him from afar by distracting Zalgo or either boosting Fadli using my power. While I was helping Fadli in his fight against Zalgo, I felt an immense force behind me, and when I turned around, I saw that the others were using all of their power to defeat the Soul Devourers who were circling around them.
Adzima:"Amazing! They really are giving their best"
Adzima:"But I won't lose"
I saw Fadli kick Zalgo hard in the stomach, sending him flying into a nearby stone hill.
Immediately, I used my power to manipulate the stones to hold him in place. Then, I summoned all the elements available to me and unleashed a barrage of bullets made from those elements to attack Zalgo. Despite the various attacks against him, Zalgo continued to try and break free despite the serious injuries he had sustained. In a final attempt to stop Zalgo, Fadli thrust his sword into Zalgo's chest, causing him to cease all movement.
Fadli:"It's over Zalgo, you lose"
After defeating all the Soul Devourers, the others then followed me to approach Fadli and Zalgo. Fadli then pulled back his sword from Zalgo's chest, sheathed it back, and he turned back to his normal form.
We all looked at Zalgo, who, with his last remaining breath, suddenly laughed and was still insulting us.
Zalgo:"Do you really think you have won, bugs? YOU WRONG! Hahahahahaha"
Zalgo then started to spew out blood from his mouth, and he started to pant while talking.
Zalgo:"I..... Am... Just the beginning..."
Zalgo:"The others will come.... They will awaken... And they..... will..... bring.... Him..... back!"
Artha:"Who are you talking about?"
Artha tries to ask what he is talking about, but Zalgo doesn't answer and still keeps on talking.
Zalgo:"He.... Will.... Rule the world.... And... No..... One.... Can..... Stop... Him"
Fadli then took his favourite pistol and put it right in front of Zalgo's face.
Fadli:"Then let him come, we will defeat him like we defeated you"
Instead of getting scared, Zalgo just smirked at Fadli and says...
Zalgo:"Long.... Live..... The.... Prince..."
"Bang!"
Fadli pulls the trigger and shoots Zalgo's head, killing him instantly. Zalgo's body then started to crumble into dust. Fadli lowered his head for a moment, then took a deep breath before he turned around and looked at us with a small smile.
Fadli:"We won!"
We all immediately cheered happily after hearing that, and we hugged each other to show our relief and happiness after everything that had happened.
Fadli:"Good job, everyone, and thank you for helping me"
Fian:"We should be the ones thanking you"
Adzima:"Fian is right, my prince, it's all thanks to you"
Adzima:"You brought us back together, you led us to save the world"
All of us smile warmly at Fadli, while Fadli chuckles a little at us.
Fadli:"Well, it was a good run, and I'm really glad I can see all of you again"
Fadli:"So, I guess now is the time for me to leave"
We all immediately fell silent after he said that.
Tetron:"Wha-what? Leave? What are you talking about, captain?"
Fadli:"My job here is done, you don't need me anymore"
I quickly take his hand and hold it firmly, preventing him from leaving.
Adzima:"Wait! No! We still need you, my prince, and I still need you here"
But Fadli gently let go of my hand, and he was still smiling at me.
Fadli:"No, you don't, princess"
My eyes started to swell up, and I started to tear up.
Adzima:"Are you really going to leave me again, my prince? But I just got you back"
Fadli gently wipes off my tears with his thumb.
Fadli:"Don't cry, princess, it's not like this is the last time we see each other"
Fadli:"We can meet each other again someday. When the time is right, I will be back with you again"
Adzima:"Do you promise?"
Fadli cupped my cheeks, and then he kissed my lips gently.
Fadli:"I promise"
Fadli then looks at the Troublemakers, and they nod towards each other.
Fadli:"Take care of her and the mansion for me"
Fian:"Sure thing, captain"
Tetron:"Don't worry about it, captain"
Fadli:"Okay then..."
I immediately hugged Fadli right after he shook hands with the Troublemakers, and I whispered in his ear.
Adzima:"I will really miss you, my prince"
Fadli:"I will miss you too, princess"
He patted my back a few times, and then we broke our hug. Fadli then bows a little towards us.
Fadli:"Goodbye everyone. May we meet again someday"
After he bid farewell, he immediately disappeared into the horizon.
