Adzima pov
When Ina, Elsa, Qori, and I were relaxing by the flower bed, we saw the Troublemakers running towards us.
Fian:"Girls, come with us"
Ina:"Why?"
Aditya:"We found something interesting, you have to see it"
Because they kept bothering us, we were finally forced to go with them. We went to the garden behind the mansion, and we stopped in front of a cave located on the cliff behind the mansion. We also saw that our other friends were also in front of the cave.
Elsa:"A cave?"
Riski:"Not just an ordinary cave, come on"
We then entered the cave, which turned out to be quite tidy, almost like a man-made cave. It was cold and very peaceful inside the cave. We could see a stream of water forming a tiny river flowing into the cave, and the sound of the flowing water added to the peaceful atmosphere. When we got to the end of the tunnel, we discovered ancient texts engraved on the cave walls, as well as other ancient drawings that seemed to be telling us something. Unfortunately we couldn't understand what was being said because none of us could read the writing.
Ryan:"Look! interesting, isn't it?"
Fian:"We found this when we were exploring this place, and we are curious what the meaning of these carvings is since we couldn't read them"
Then, out of nowhere, Falco suddenly appeared beside me, startling all of us.
Falco:"It's an ancient prophecy"
Adzima:"Since when are you here, my prince?"
Falco:"I just got here"
Fian:"So, captain, what does this prophecy say?"
Falco:"It would be better if you didn't know"
Artha:"Is it about Zalgo?"
Falco:"Worse! much worse"
Fian:"Now I'm even more curious"
Aditya:"Me too"
All of us then looked at Falco.
Falco then sighed and started reading the prophecy.
Falco:"In the shadows, secrets hide, unseen,
A mask concealing darkness, ever keen.
As the seal of separation starts to break,
The world trembles in a chilling quake.
Pure evil, lurking, seeks to devour,
In the dead of night, it gains its power.
The moon cowers, dare not reveal its face,
While the sun retreats from its rightful place.
Eternal darkness, cold and void,
No warmth or hope to be enjoyed.
For in that moment, dreadfully nigh,
The Prince of Darkness shall arise.
He'll bring the terror, the world undone,
In his wake, chaos for everyone.
So beware the day when the mask is shed,
And fear the darkness that lies ahead."
When we heard the prophecy, all of us immediately got shivers. Falco sighed again when he saw our expressions.
Falco:"I told you, you would be better not knowing it"
Falco then pats my shoulder and motions for us to leave.
Falco:"Don't think too hard about it, guys. For now, we need to defeat Zalgo first"
Falco:"Come on, we need to find the next person"
We then took the jet and landed near a building located in the middle of nowhere. We all fell silent as soon as Falco opened the entrance to the building. The building turned out to be a laboratory, and the contents of the laboratory were really disturbing. Many human bodies were cut into parts, transplanted onto other human bodies, and then placed in a water-filled tube, unconscious. The tube also contains lots of mutated human bodies. After seeing it, we felt nauseous and wanted to puke.
Fian:"What the fuck are these?"
Falco:"The dark side of humanity"
I saw Falco grip his hands tightly to control his rage.
I immediately grabbed his hand and gently squeezed it to calm him down. We then exchanged smiles and continued exploring the lab. We went silent again when we saw one of the tubes, number 23, labelled Luna, because the body in the tube was our friend Rima. Ryan, unable to control his rage, instantly destroyed the tube in order to save Rima. However, as he attempted to hug Rima, we saw Rima's nails turning black and sharp. Rima then attacked Ryan with her nails, but Falco was able to pull Ryan away in time, preventing Ryan from being hurt.
Rima continued to attack them both, as well as all of us who tried to get close to her.
Adzima:"Rima, why are you attacking us? We are your friends"
We tried calling Rima several times, but she never responded and continued to attack us.
Falco:"It looks like she has already been brainwashed"
Hilda:"What? How do we wake her up then?"
Falco:"I don't know"
We continuously avoided Rima's attacks while planning a way to wake her up. However, when we were thinking about it, Rima's attacks became faster and more powerful, and before I knew it, she was in front of me, ready to tear my face apart with her claws.
Fortunately, Falco was able to grab Rima's hand before she scratched me. But Rima was no less swift, as she scratched Falco's arm with her free hand, tearing his clothes and injuring his hand. Meanwhile, Falco did not appear to be in pain and instead appeared to be impressed. Ryan then appeared behind Rima and immediately hugged her, catching her off guard. Ryan then whispered sweet words into Rima's ear, and he was able to free Rima from the influence of being brainwashed, but she quickly fainted afterwards.
Ryan pov
I had an idea of how to wake Rima up when she was busy fighting Falco and Adzima. I told Fian about my plan, and he agreed to help me. I returned my attention to Rima, who had managed to hurt Falco's hand, and then nodded to Fian. Fian then teleported me to Rima's back, and I hugged her immediately.
Ryan:"What happens to you, Rima? This is not who you are, don't let them control you"
Ryan:"There are a lot of things I would like to talk about with you, so please wake up"
Rima then slowly turned her head towards me, and she smiled.
Rima:"I missed you too, Thank you"
Rima then passed out after saying that. The others then approached us slowly, smiling at us.
Falco:"What a reckless plan!"
Ryan:"I don't want to hear that from someone who got impressed after his hand got injured"
Adzima:"Is she okay, Ryan?"
Ryan:"Yes, she just fainted, I think"
Falco:"Bring her to the jet, let her rest there"
Ryan:"aye aye captain"
Fian pov
After Ryan left to take Rima to the jet, Falco walked to the computer on the other side of the room, hacked it, and all the tubes in the lab suddenly opened, causing the bodies inside to fall to the floor.
Falco:"We need to give them proper burials. Help me, guys"
We all nodded and helped him bury the body. We buried the bodies not far from the lab, then paid our final respects to them. Falco then squatted near those graves, apologising to them.
Falco:"I am really sorry. I am too late to save you"
Adzima then also squatted beside him, embracing him.
Adzima:"We are sorry, it's not just you, my prince"
Falco:"Thank you, princess. Can you check on Ryan and Rima at the jet?"
Fian:'That's weird'
I know their relationship isn't official yet, but Falco doesn't usually push Adzima away on purpose. Nonetheless, Adzima nodded and went straight back to the jet. Falco then talked to us in a chilly and menacing tone after Adzima had left.
Falco:"Anjas, burns down this place!"
Anjas nodded and did what he asked, he burned down the lab until it crumbled without any traces.
Fian:'No wonder he asked Adzima to leave, he really did his best to protect his princess'
The others seemed to have realised the same thing, and they all smiled at Falco. We then exchanged whispers behind Falco as we headed back to the jet.
Elsa:"He's really sweet"
Ina:"Adzima is truly lucky to find someone like him"
Aditya:"If only both of them confessed to each other"
Fian:"That would be our job, mate"
Aditya:"You're right"
Qori:"You Troublemakers better not do something foolish like meddle with their romance"
Riski:"Why are Gimbul and I included? It's just Fian and Aditya"
Qori:"I know you guys very well, you're a flock, so you will definitely get involved in whatever they're planning"
Fian:"Well, you are not wrong about that"
Fian:"But we also want Adzima to be happy because, after all that has happened to her, she deserves it"
Aditya:"That's why we will do anything we can to help them get together"
We arrived at the plane not long after, and Adzima immediately forced Falco to sit down and treated his injured arm with care and affection. I smirked at Qori upon seeing that, and she just sighed in defeat.
Qori:"Fine"
