Adzima pov
When I got close to Qori and Ina, they asked me right away.
Qori:"Did something good happen, Adzima?"
Adzima:"Hm? Nothing happened, why do you ask?"
Qori and Ina exchanged glances before nodding and smirking at me.
Adzima:"What?"
Qori:"Nothing"
Falco then arrived and asked us to gather, after that, the hologram in the centre of the room displayed a video and image labelled the Amazon Rain Forest. I quickly approached him when he told us about the person we would meet next.
Adzima:"Amazon rainforest? Who will we find in a forest like that?"
Falco:"You will see"
Falco then spoke to Dwiyan, and I noticed Ina and Qori smirking at me again. I asked them with my mouth.
Adzima:"What?"
They just kept smirking and mouthing to respond to me.
Qori & Ina:"Nothing"
Because they were still smirking for no reason, I returned my attention to Falco and Dwiyan's conversation.
Falco:"Dwiyan, you can talk to fish, right?"
Dwiyan:"Yes, why?"
Falco:"We are going to need that ability later"
We then went to the Amazon on a small cruise ship. We were greeted with the vast ocean as soon as we exited the mansion's underground dock.
Falco instructed us to relax on the ship until we reached the Amazon River. When we got to the Amazon River, I saw Falco talking to an eagle perched on his shoulder.
Falco:"Can I count on you?"
The eagle then screeched softly to him in response, and Falco petted the eagle's head.
Falco:"Thank you"
I didn't want to bother them at first, but the eagle and Falco noticed my presence, so I approached them.
Adzima:"What a beautiful eagle"
Falco:"Her name is Azul, she is my friend"
Falco:"And she will help us to find the next person"
I simply nodded, and Falco spoke again.
Falco:"Do you want to pet her?"
Adzima:"Can I?"
Falco then turned towards the eagle on his shoulder, who screeched softly in response.
Falco:"She doesn't mind"
Adzima:"Then"
I then carefully extended out my hand to pet her head, and to my delight, she didn't bite me but instead screeched joyously. But not long after, she suddenly screeched again and flew away.
Adzima:"Um, did I do something to upset her?"
Falco:"No, we are here, tell the others"
Adzima:"Okay"
Falco:"Also, she already likes you, so don't worry"
After we anchored the ship and headed towards the jungle, we came across what appeared to be a research tent. We didn't see anyone around the tent, but we also didn't find any traces of an attack on the tent, so we hope whoever was here is still safe. We spotted a green-furred monkey hanging on the tent's roof while investigating it. When he noticed us, the monkey ran away, and Falco immediately chased him.
Falco:"Catch that monkey"
We were a little confused by his request, but we still complied and chased after the monkey.
The monkey we were after then leapt from the tree and turned into a green panther.
Fian:"What?"
We were unable to keep up with the panther because it moved so quickly through the trees. Except for Falco, who was as agile as the panther despite having to go over several branches and trees. It didn't take long for him to catch the panther. However, the panther turned once again, this time into a snake, making it difficult to capture. The snake then jumped into the river to run away.
Falco:"Dwiyan"
Dwiyan:"On it"
Dwiyan then used his abilities to talk with the fish in the river to surround the green snake. That's why the snake turned again into a bird and flew across the skies. But Azul, who had apparently been alert in the sky, swiftly disrupted the green bird, causing it to fall back to the ground and turn into a boy with green hair.
Fian:"So, he can transform into animals?"
Ina:"Apparently"
Fian & Aditya:"Awesome"
Falco crouched down in front of the boy and held out his hand to help the boy up.
Falco:"I'm sorry for suddenly chasing you"
Falco:"Also, don't be afraid, we are not your enemies, we are here because we need your help"
The boy then raised his head and looked at us. When we saw his face, we discovered that he is Elyas.
Elyas:"So, it's you guys"
Adzima:'But, as far as I recall, Elyas does not have green hair'
Adzima:'Hm, maybe he dyed his hair'
Elyas then looked back at Falco and asked.
Elyas:"Are you with them?"
Falco:"Yes"
Elyas accepted Falco's outstretched hand, who then helped him stand up.
Elyas:"I guess that eagle is also yours"
Elyas:"So, what do you need from me?"
Before Falco could respond, I immediately answered Elyas' question, because I'm usually the one who explains things.
Adzima:"You know about the demon's attack, right?"
Elyas:"Yes, I heard about it. Why?"
Adzima:"The world is on the edge of destruction because of them, therefore, we are assembling a team of people with extraordinary abilities to save the world from them, and we want you to join us"
Elyas:"Thank you for the explanation, Adzima, but I was asking him, not you"
I soon realised what I had done as Elyas pointed to Falco, and I apologised to Falco.
Adzima:"Ah, I'm sorry"
Falco:"It's okay, princess. Thank you for explaining in my place"
He smiled at me, then looked at Elyas.
Adzima:'I love that smile'
As I was thinking about that, I felt someone nudging my waist, and Qori whispered to me.
Qori:"You blurted it out loud, Adzima"
I was shocked when I heard that, and my face blushed slightly.
Adzima:"Did anyone else hear it?"
Ina:"I think no, so you are safe for now"
Adzima:"Thanks goodness"
I turned my attention back to Falco and Elyas, who were already shaking hands.
Elyas:"I'm in. I'm Elyas, by the way. Nice to meet you"
Falco:"Nice to meet you too. Elyas, my name is Falco"
I noticed that Azul was still following us from the sky as we returned to the ship and prepared to return to the mansion. Falco stopped me from reaching out my hand before I could call Azul.
Falco:"Wait, wear this"
Falco then handed me a protective glove.
Falco:"Azul's claws are pretty sharp, so it could hurt you if you are not careful"
I nodded and put on the gloves before reaching out my hand and calling Azul. Azul came and perched on my gloved palm, much to my surprise.
Falco:"Why are you shocked? I told you she liked you already"
I pouted at him after hearing him say that.
Adzima:"Hei, let me have my moments, okay? It's not everyday that I can have an eagle perched on my hand"
Falco then laughed a little when he saw my reaction.
Falco:"Enjoy it, then"
I was captivated by his laugh because it was the first time I had seen him laugh like that.
Adzima:'Oh no...'
I could feel my face warming up, so I quickly made an excuse to leave so Falco wouldn't notice my blushing face.
Adzima:"I'm a little thirsty, and I'd like to get a drink inside. Do you want something as well?"
Falco:"No need, princess, I can get it on my own"
Adzima:"Okay"
I immediately gave Azul to him and began walking into the ship, but Falco called me to say something.
Falco:"Ah, I also love your smile, princess"
After hearing it, I was silent for a while before responding.
Adzima:"... Thank you"
I rushed directly into the ship, covering my face with both hands since I was very embarrassed, and this time it wasn't only my face that was hot, but my entire body became hot.
Adzima:"That is not fair"
I then heard my friends laughing while teasing me a little after they saw my reaction.
Fian:"I never thought you would be this weak. Adzima"
Adzima:"Shut up Fian"
Aditya:"Fian is correct, Adzima, you must be more assertive if you truly desire him"
After Aditya said that, everyone quickly supported him, which made me even more embarrassed.
Adzima:"I really hate you guys"
