Elder Su waved his hand dismissively. "Let's go, Elder Yao. Your Nascent Soul celebration is in two days. Make sure you're ready."
Yao Yunluo laughed heartily. "Elder Su, I've had everything prepared long ago."
At that moment, both Elder Su and Yao Yunluo sensed something and looked toward the sky.
A brilliant streak of light appeared suddenly, plummeting like a fierce wind filled with a thick aroma of alcohol.
Elder Su gave a cold snort and waved his hand, dispersing the dust stirred up by the wind.

Standing there was a hearty, bearded man with a rugged build.

"Lü Dongxuan, is that you?" Elder Su's eyes filled with surprise and anger, tinged with a hint of fear.
"You know me? But I don't know you," the rugged man took a swig of wine and grinned.
Elder Su snorted coldly. "I am Su Changqing! A Nascent Soul elder of the Supreme Purity Sect!"
Lü Dongxuan scratched his head. "Oh, and who's Su Beifeng to you?"
Su Changqing replied proudly, "He's my second uncle! The tenth elder of the Supreme Purity Sect! The only one to hold the position with a Nascent Soul level cultivation!"
Lü Dongxuan laughed heartily. "Well, it's funny you say that. Just before I got here, I happened to give him a good beating. And this wine? I swiped it from him!"
Lü Dongxuan patted the wine gourd at his waist, showing it off.
Su Changqing's face twisted with anger. "You!"
Lü Dongxuan waved dismissively. "Scram. I got my hands on some fine wine today, so I'm in a good mood. I won't bother with the likes of you."
Yao Yunluo frowned, about to speak.
But Su Changqing stopped him, glaring coldly at the burly man. "Lü Dongxuan, one day, someone will put you in your place."
"We're leaving!"
Lü Dongxuan spoke leisurely, "Hold it."
Su Changqing's body froze.
Lü Dongxuan dug into his ear, flicking a bit of earwax off into the distance. "I think I heard something about a celebration just now?"
Su Changqing said nothing.
Lü Dongxuan chuckled. "I love a lively event. If that celebration is two days from now, count me in—I'll be there to cheer you on!"
"Alright, off you go."
With that, he squatted down, carefully examining the scorch marks on the ground.
"Let's go," Su Changqing signaled.
The members of Divine Sword Sect hurriedly made their exit.
Only once they were clear of the Qingcang Mountains did Yao Yunluo speak softly, "Elder Su, who exactly is this Lü Dongxuan? You seemed a bit…"
Su Changqing's expression darkened. "Though he's only at the peak of the Nascent Soul stage, he's already the strongest Nascent Soul cultivator in the Jade Cauldron Sect."
"Many of our Supreme Purity Sect's Nascent Soul cultivators have been defeated by him."
