In the dimly lit enchanted forest, as night descended, two figures emerged from the shadows. A man and a woman, their faces covered with mask under the hood robe the are wearing.
The female carries a small bundle wrapped in cloth, rushing through the woods as if chase by a ghost. The moonlight filtered through the canopy, casting an eerie glow on the scene.
They moved with hurried steps, the rustling of leaves and the hushed whispers of the wind were the only sounds in the stillness of the night. After a while they arrived at a clearing, the man and woman exchanged furtive glances, their expressions a mix of guilt and regrets.
Without a word spoken between them, she knelt down and placed the bundle on the forest floor. The man walked over with hands trembling as he unwrapped the cloth, revealing a small child with an extremely pale white skin.
feminine facial features with a malely twist, black sclera, moon white geometric patterns iris and a reptilian pupils. his hair ablend of flowing silver-white cascading down his shoulder.
along a slightly elongated ear and a lean but perfect build physique befitting a professional trainer
The child stirred at the man, a faint wail escaping his lips as he stretched his hands to touch the man, but the man recoiled as if the child's touch burned his skin.
an evident look of disguise itched on his face as he stir dagger at the child, the woman by the side had a conflicted expression.
one that couldn't be hidden even behind her mask, it became clear the child was not seen as a blessing but a curse, a harbinger of something otherworldly.
"Anna" the man called out to the Lady lost in thought, "this is the best we can do, its better than killing him ourselves or watch others drown burn him alive"
the lady turn to the man as if those words had a lingering sting of lies laces all over it, the man scratched his head seeing the Lady's look
"I know it seems the same abandoning him here in the woods of Flora teaming with furious deadly creatures
but he might end up surviving seeing what he is, either way w....."
"enough" the Lady couldn't take in more, ordering the other to stop. she glance at the unusual child one more time and with a resolved resolute, turn her gaze away
The man and woman exchanged another glance, a silent agreement passing between them as they turned away from the child, hurrying back the way they came, leaving him alone in the heart of the enchanted forest.
The baby's cries echoed through the trees, as he watched both figure silhouette fading in the night.
meanwhile unbeknownst to the two figures, there was a man on a tree above some distance away from the scene.
he had witness everything and was left In a thought stances if to ignore the child or intervene. the cry of the child soon began to hunt his consciousness that he decided to step in
navigating through the woods he arrived before the baby but he had a serious frown on his face at this time and this wasn't because of the child look.
he isn't favoured enough to see that, he is blind in every way one can be blind thus he doesn't know how the child looks
the reason for his frown is the aura surrounding the child. those two from earlier had bright golden Aura which meant they were humans but this child is different.
he had noticed this the moments those two got in his line of perception, allowing him to see and perceived them through his aura sight
more reason he didn't step in to question them when they dropped the baby and left, still that wasn't his worry. from experience of using his ability aura sight
he can tell whatever is around him, if its human or beast but this child has neither of these aura instead had a prisms aura surrounding his being
he hadn't come across anything like this before, he would have thought its some sort of supernatural being if the golden Aura within the multidimensional aura of light wasn't dominating the others.
a clear sign the child is human, this made him wonder why they decided to cast him out. he squat don't to trace the baby's feature but didn't find anything strange about him.
left with no other option and the warm grip of the baby, he decided to pick him up at which the baby coiled up in his arms, diving into dream world from overexertion due to crying too long
the man smile mildly as he saw this but quickly frown again as he raised his head towards a certain direction from which the trees where shifting as if something huge us coming through
the man slowly and carefully reached for his sword on his side all the while making sure not to wake the sleeping child while he wait for the intruder to show up
shortly a powerful shrieking roar resounded as a gaint beast looking like a fusing of a warthog and a lion came in sight
it fierce gaze landed on the blind man and the sleeping child and with a second shrieks charge at them. the man just scoff at the beast action, waiting in place for it to get closer
inch for the beast to ram into him, he side step fluidly with silence step akin to the motion of a flowing river while slashing at the beast hind leg.
"know your place vie beast, don't your beast instinct tell you I'm off your league" the man playfully spoke
the beast roar even more angrier as he charged hoppingly towards the man again but was meant with another flawless strike
the toying didn't last long as the beast met its end way faster than it charged in. the man clean his sword and sheath it back
"you sure are one trouble attractor little one" he mutter as he gaze at the sleeping baby as if he could see the outline of his face
from the little exchange just now, he could already tell the beast is attracted to the child to a point it ignored it primal instinct of sensing danger.
and he could already see more beast heading their way from a distance, lots of silver Aura is dashing over from different spot.
"we better leave before they gets here, o can sense some powerful beast amongst them"
he turn to the child once more, wipe out a talisman and placed it on the child forehead which quickly suppress the child Aura
storing the dead beast on a spatial storage, he took a direction with less and weak silver Aura. escaping the scene before he could get surrounded by the beast horde racing in
scaling through the woods evading the tide of beast heading to the direction he is coming from, he soon arrived at a small lake
standing at the center of this lake is a small cottage, making it impossible to get to it except one want to take a quick dive.
not to mention the strong silver Aura residing deep within the lake, wiping out the dead beast, he took a small part and store it back while kicking rest into the lake.
shortly after the beast corpse got in the lake, dozens of tentacles emerged from the dept of the lake. in no time it fully emerged revealing it's octopus characteristics.
right before the man it munch down the beast and was stretching on of its tentacles towards the baby in the mans hands but the other slapped it away
"he is no off tenty, he is family so remember that. take a good look at him an remember his aura and scent"
the beast responded before wrapping one of his tentacle on the man's waist, lifting him up and taking him through.
Time seem to flash by and its five years already, and a youngster of five with silver white hair is seen having a spar with the grown blind man in the courtyard of the cottage.
both of their wooden sword clash creating a mini force that recoiled back at the kid, pushing him back as he pants for breath.
"that is enough for today Damien, I must say you're pretty good for your age. your speed, agility, reflex and dexterity of wielding sword and executing your movement skill is unparalleled to those your age"
Damien stood up with intrigue look on his face, he tries to sneak an attack by taking silent steps to draw closer but was countered at the last minute
"I still can't get how you can see me when you are blind father" Damien complained unfairly, crossing his arm over his chest like a spoiled brat
"I only lost my sight and not my Magi boy, I'll saying losing my sight is more like a blessing to me too as it help me hone my ability more"
though he said that, his voice is still laced with sadness that couldn't escape Damien's eyes.
