Inside the magnificent dining hall of the Agastya mansion, Dolemort had the first seat of the wide-spread dining table and Vanessa was seated on the far opposite end of the table. The atmosphere in the hall was serious, as none of them spoke a word first. Moreover, their table was filled with light breakfast cuisine and two maids were serving them the breakfast.
Right next to Dolemort's seat, Mr. Clark stood tall, holding a tablet as he was conveying his schedule planned for the rest of the day. Dolemort was silently focused on buttering his toast while listening to Mr. Clark, but on the other hand, Vanessa seemed a bit fidgety.
Dressed in an exquisite peach-colored silk gown with heavy makeup on her face to make her look younger compared to her age, she was fiddling with her fingertips without touching the breakfast platter.
