Black thread-like substances began to flow out from Tony's fingertips, arms, and the spaces between his spine, bones, and muscles.
They moved like a liquid, smoothly spreading across Tony's body, enveloping him completely.
The Arc Reactor on his chest lit up at this moment, as electrical currents connected to some terminal.
In an instant, the thread-like substances solidified, transforming into a sleek, mirror-like suit of armor.
The suit was pitch black.
Though it was formed from the thread-like material, it retained a metallic sheen.
Finally, the eyes of the suit lit up with a faint glow, and his hands reassembled to form new energy cannons.
"What the hell?"
Not just the Ten Rings' subordinates—even Lyon was dumbfounded.
What is this thing? Wasn't biomechanical armor supposed to look different?
And didn't all the E-type mold stay behind in the Resident Evil world? What are these black threads supposed to be?
He instinctively activated his x-ray vision and scanned Tony's entire body.
Beneath the streamlined armor,
countless thread-like substances connected the suit to Tony's body.
These threads extended into his subcutaneous tissue, weaving through the gaps between his cells and reaching his bones.
Within the gaps in the bone structure, Lyon saw extremely intricate electronic-metal circuits.
He could discern that these circuits contained trace amounts of vibranium.
That small amount of vibranium acted as a critical medium, wrapped with billions of thread-like substances, densely interconnected, all leading to the Arc Reactor on Tony's chest.
There, cold nuclear energy was converted into bioelectricity, continuously powering the seemingly endless threads.
Lyon understood what was happening.
Tony had implanted some kind of fungus and core armor components into the gaps of his bones.
The SS3-type enhanced serum had granted him the abilities of "fungal control" and "bio-parasitic manipulation."
Now, under the energy supply of the Arc Reactor, a perfect combination with the fungus! A stable and enhanced structure had taken form!!
So this was what Tony had been secretly working on for months in the Resident Evil world—a brand-new suit of armor.
He hadn't been exaggerating.
This armor was far beyond Lyon's expectations and even left him feeling deeply astonished.
"Mark VI—that's the name of this suit. Today is its debut."
Tony ignited the propulsion flames under his feet, lifting himself into the air.
This suit was clearly easier to control.
His movements as he ascended were effortless, like a fish gliding through water, as if he were simply manipulating a part of his own body.
"Of course, you can also call it the Fungal God Armor. So, how about saying hello to it? Come on, say, 'Hi there.'"
Naturally, the Ten Rings members weren't going to greet a suit of armor.
But they could undeniably feel an overwhelming sense of pressure emanating from it.
"No response? Alright, looks like none of you have much of a sense of humor."
Tony waved in midair, then looked toward Lyon in the distance.
"Relax, these fungal filaments aren't from the E-mold. They're a new strain I cultivated while I was in that place," he explained.
"They're not infectious, and they don't have any of those random enhancement or transformation traits."
"I call them Fungal Divinity. Their advantages? They can reproduce at super speed and amplify all of my abilities."
As Tony spoke, the energy cannon on his left palm disappeared, replaced by roaring flames. His right hand transformed into a sharp fungal longsword.
"Now then, intermission is over—time to begin round two!"
Tony dove from the sky, fire and sword intertwining as they thrust toward Wenwu.
The opponent was already prepared.
Tony's new armor alone emanated a pressure as heavy as a mountain, making his opponent feel its weight just by looking at it.
After clashing, Wenwu understood that the pressure wasn't just for show—it was the manifestation of true power.
Clang!
The fungal longsword collided with the Ten Rings, sending sparks and flames soaring into the air.
The two figures broke apart after the initial strike, only to clash again immediately.
Tony unleashed a dazzling array of attacks.
Tony's armored hands constantly shifted forms—sometimes becoming concentrated energy cannons, other times morphing into long whips or massive blades.
The whip, engulfed in searing flames, coiled around Wenwu, a weapon Tony named Venomous Scorch Lash.
The blade, over two meters long, slashed down with a fiery brilliance that ignited the air, earning the name Fungal Divinity Flame Blade.
Tony attacked relentlessly—binding, slashing, and scorching—combining high temperatures and explosive cannon fire.
Wenwu, caught off guard, seemed to struggle under the onslaught. The Ten Rings whirled in a frantic defense, creating an almost impenetrable barrier, but they were barely enough to fend off the storm of attacks.
The members of the Ten Rings stood in stunned silence, utterly unprepared for the sight of someone pushing their leader to such limits.
Meanwhile, Lyon casually stood among them, observing the fight as if enjoying a good show. Arms crossed, he nodded occasionally, silently acknowledging the combat power of Tony's new armor.
This new suit wasn't just resistant to extreme heat and capable of effortless transformations—it also clearly amplified Tony's abilities.
Once equipped, his strength had visibly increased by at least fivefold.
With Tony's baseline strength already exceeding a ton, a fivefold increase was no small feat.
Yet, despite this impressive power boost, Lyon remained skeptical of Tony's chances against Wenwu.
The Ten Rings provided extraordinary defense, and up to this point, Tony hadn't managed to break through even once.
Considering the stamina of both combatants, it seemed likely that they could keep this battle going for days without a clear result.
To end the fight, something needed to change.
After several more rounds of intense clashes, Tony came to the same realization. He decisively activated his jet boosters and retreated, landing on a patch of grass several dozen meters away.
Bringing his hands together in front of him, he taunted Wenwu.
"Grumpy old relic, step back a bit. Now I'm getting serious!"
The armor around Tony's hands began to flow and shift, forming a massive cannon that dwarfed him in size.
The weapon's barrel, elongated and menacing, resembled the gaping maw of a giant predator shark.
From a distance, Lyon immediately recognized the design—it was an electromagnetic cannon, or more precisely, a current railgun, developed by the Umbrella Corporation.
Unlike conventional railguns that launched projectiles, this weapon unleashed an enormous surge of electrical energy upon activation.
"Inspired by another world—you're gonna love this," Tony quipped as he began charging his weapon.
The barrel of the current cannon in his hands crackled with arcing lightning.
Bits of grass floating in the air were drawn into a swirling vortex around him, affected by the electromagnetic force.
The electricity at the cannon's mouth grew increasingly intense, its light dazzling, while the vortex of grass and debris spun faster and faster.
Two seconds later, the cannon finished charging.
A silver-blue bolt of pure energy, as thick as a meter-wide spear of lightning, roared out from the cannon's barrel.
Everything in its path—grass, dirt, even the air itself—was torn apart as the bolt surged toward Wenwu.
Surprisingly, Wenwu made no attempt to interrupt Tony during his charge.
Instead, he waited for the energy blast to fire, his eyes narrowing sharply. With a calm but resolute motion, he brought his hands together, manipulating the Ten Rings to converge and rotate rapidly in front of him.
As the rings spun and overlapped, their combined energy swelled exponentially, forming a luminous barrier.
In the next instant, the energy spear collided violently with Wenwu's defensive construct.
The world seemed to shudder as the impact sent an invisible shockwave rippling outward from the point of collision.
The grass and soil within several meters were violently upheaved, scattering in all directions like a rainstorm of debris.
The strongest aspect of the current cannon was its piercing power.
Yet Wenwu had blocked the shot head-on.
He was flung backward, executing a backflip mid-air before landing firmly on his feet. The only visible change was his slightly disheveled hair.
"This battle armor of yours—I must admit, I like it," Wenwu said, his gaze showing a rare trace of admiration.
