Jeoyoon's eyes fluttered closed as he felt himself being carried out of the carriage. He was vaguely aware of the sound of voices and the feeling of being jostled around, but everything was a blur.
When he opened his eyes again, he saw the physician's face hovering above him, his eyes blurry and unfocused. Jeoyoon tried to speak, but his voice was barely a whisper.
The physician's face was a mixture of concern and urgency, but before Jeoyoon could even process what was happening, everything went black again.
When Jeoyoon regained consciousness, he was lying in his bed, his body feeling weak and drained. He was disoriented, unsure of where he was or what had happened.
But as his eyes focused, he saw Chunho sitting next to him, his face etched with concern.
"Chunho?" he called out, his voice weak and hoarse.
Jeoyoon hands searched for Chunho as he opened his eyes.
Chunho was by his side in an instant, his face etched with concern. "Jeoyoon, how are you feeling?" he asked, his voice low and gentle.
Jeoyoon's eyes felt heavy, and his body ached all over. He couldn't seem to shake off the fever that had taken hold of him.
"I'm...I'm so hot," Jeoyoon muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Chunho nodded, his eyes never leaving Jeoyoon's face. "I'll get you some water," he said, getting up to fetch a bowl of cool water.
But Jeoyoon's eyes had already started to droop, his body feeling heavy and lethargic.
"Chunho," he called out again, his voice weak and sleepy.
"Yes, Jeoyoon?" Chunho replied, returning to his side with the water.
Jeoyoon's eyes fluttered open, his gaze fixed on Chunho's face. "Hold me…sleep next to me," he muttered, his voice barely audible.
Chunho's face softened, and he nodded. "Okay.."he said, lying down beside him.
Jeoyoon's eyes closed, his body relaxing as he felt Chunho's warm presence beside him. He was vaguely aware of Chunho's arms wrapping around him, holding him close as he drifted off to sleep.
Chunho continued to take care of Jeoyoon throughout the night, barely getting any sleep despite having just returned from a long trip. He sat by Jeoyoon's bedside, wiping his forehead with a cool cloth and feeding him medicine to bring down the fever.
As the night wore on, Jeoyoon's body began to calm, his fever finally breaking. Chunho breathed a sigh of relief, but he didn't dare leave Jeoyoon's side not that he could, as he stared at Jeoyoon's hand tightly holding his.
Finally, exhausted from the long night of taking care of Jeoyoon, Chunho lay down beside him on the bed. He wrapped his arms around Jeoyoon, holding him close as he drifted off to sleep.
As the first light of dawn crept into the room, Jeoyoon's eyes fluttered open. He looked around, disoriented, before his gaze fell on Chunho. Chunho was fast asleep beside him, his body curled around Jeoyoon's, his face relaxed in slumber.
Jeoyoon's eyes widened when he heard Chunho snore, he knew he must have spend the taking care of him.
He slowly reached out, his arms wrapping around Chunho's waist as he pulled him closer.
Chunho didn't stir, too exhausted to even respond. But Jeoyoon didn't care. He just held on, feeling a sense of safety and comfort in Chunho's arms.
As he hugged Chunho, Jeoyoon felt his eyes growing heavy, his body finally relaxing after the long ordeal. He fell asleep, holding onto Chunho tightly.
Ahn walked to the door, his lips twitching neither of the two masters were awake.
Du!
Du!
"Master? Master Jeoyoon…would you care for breakfast now??"
"Ahn…you can come in…"
Chunho yawned as he stared at the warm body tightly hugging his.
It had been like this all morning, Jeoyoon just wouldnt let him go.
"M-master…."
Ahn's lips twitched when he saw both men and the dark circles under Chunho's eyes.
"Hush, he's still asleep but he won't let me go so I'd like you to prepare a bath for us first because bringing breakfast.."
Ahn nodded, trying to stifle a smile. "Yes, Master. I'll prepare the bath immediately."
Chunho nodded, his eyes still fixed on Jeoyoon's face. "Good job, Ahn."
Ahn bowed and quickly left the room, returning a few minutes later with a nod. "The bath is ready, Master."
Chunho gently lifted Jeoyoon, who was still wrapped around him, and carried him to the bath. Jeoyoon didn't stir, still fast asleep.
As Chunho lowered Jeoyoon into the water, Jeoyoon's eyes fluttered open. "I'm...I'm so hot, why is it so hot?" he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Chunho nodded, his eyes never leaving Jeoyoon's face. "It's okay I'm just giving you a bath."
Jeoyoon's eyes closed, his body relaxing as he felt the water wash over him. Chunho gently washed his hair, his face, and his body, taking care to avoid any sensitive areas.
As the bath came to an end, Jeoyoon's eyes fluttered open again. He looked up at Chunho, his gaze still sleepy. "Chunho..."
"Yes.." Chunho replied, his voice low and gentle.
Jeoyoon's eyes drooped, his body feeling heavy and lethargic. "Thank you...for taking care of me..."
Chunho's face softened, and he smiled. "Mhm my pet is especially tired today so I have to take care of him and he won't let me leave his side.."
As the bath came to an end, Ahn arrived with a tray of steaming bowls and a variety of dishes. "Time to eat, Masters," he said, his voice bright and cheerful.
But Jeoyoon was still drowsy, his eyes struggling to stay open. He leaned against Chunho, his body swaying slightly as he tried to stay awake.
Chunho smiled and gently supported Jeoyoon, helping him sit up. "Does fever usually make you this sluggish? Or is it because of your special constitution? I'll help you eat."
Jeoyoon's eyes fluttered open, his gaze fixed on the food in front of him. But before he could even take a bite, his eyes drooped, and he fell asleep, his body extremely tired.
"Ill be fine after I sleep a bit.."
He managed to say, staring at Chunho who had his hands wrapped around him.
Chunho chuckled and gently propped Jeoyoon up, using his own body to support him. He picked up a spoon and began to feed Jeoyoon, carefully guiding the food into his mouth.
Jeoyoon's eyes would flicker open every now and then, and he would try to take a bite on his own. But within seconds, his eyes would droop again, and he would fall asleep, his body still weakened from the fever.
