After Alex parted ways with Han Shui, he headed towards his villa. As he arrived, he noticed a car parked in front of his house with the license plate "SU275." Alex instantly recognized the car; it belonged to his mother's personal maid, Su Minjo.
Alex frowned immediately. When he entered the villa, he found an elderly woman with white hair. In a mocking tone, he asked, "Do you need something, old lady?"
The woman frowned at the word "old," and she was about to start cursing. But when she turned around and saw that the person who had addressed her like that was the son of her mistress, she swallowed her words and spoke with a cold tone, full of disdain: "Miss Su wants to see you."
Alex noticed her expression and knew exactly what she was thinking. She thinks I'd be happy to see my mother he thought to himself. If this were the past, I might have been happy because it was a chance to see my mother, whom I barely ever see... But sorry, I'm not the same person anymore.
He replied coldly, "I don't have time. I'm busy."
The woman responded icily, "Alright, come on...!! Wait, what did you say?"
Ignoring her, Alex said, "Donald, escort this old lady out."
"Yes, young master," Donald replied.
When the woman realized she might actually be thrown out, her tone changed: "Do you know what you're doing? By ignoring the lady's invitation, you might never see her again because of this. I'll pretend I didn't hear you."
Without showing any emotion, Alex said, "Go to hell, you and that bitch. Donald, next time, don't let anyone from the Su family get close to the villa."
Donald respectfully responded, "Yes, young master."
As Donald led the woman out, she spoke coldly, "Very well, I'll make sure to inform Miss Su about this."
After the woman left the villa, Alex went to the garden to relax as he had a long journey ahead the next day. He took out his laptop, logged into a real estate website, and began selling all his properties and cars. In the end, he accumulated over 4 billion won. He also started selling some of his shares in other companies, earning an additional 8 billion. After completing these transactions, Alex donated 3 billion to an orphanage, 2 billion to the police, and 3 billion to hospitals and charities. He was left with 4 billion, from which he left 1 billion for his servant Donald. After completing everything, Alex closed his laptop and took a nap.
While Alex was napping, the maid was standing in the Su family's mansion in front of a young woman with black hair as dark as the night and blue eyes, wearing a black Chinese qipao that highlighted her perfect figure. To anyone who saw her, she would appear to be only 27 years old, but her actual age was 39. This woman was the head of the Su family, one of the four major families. Su Minjo, Alex's mother.
"Are you saying he refused my invitation and called me a bitch?" Su Minjo spoke in a cold voice.
"Yes, madam," the maid replied.
Su Minjo responded angrily, "Very well, does he want to rebel now?"
"What should we do, madam?" the maid asked.
Su Minjo commanded firmly, "Prepare the car, I'm going to see him."
The maid hesitated, "But madam..."
Su Minjo interrupted her sharply, "I don't like repeating myself."
"Yes, madam."
Su Minjo left her mansion and headed to her car, followed by six black cars. During the ride, Su Minjo received new information: "Madam, we've received information that the young master has sold all his properties and donated 80% of the money he received."
Su Minjo frowned and said, "What is that child planning?"
From Donald's Perspective:
I don't know what's gotten into the young master since he woke up today. He's been acting strangely, but he seemed a bit more lively. I've served the young master since he was a child, and I know how much pain and sorrow he carries.
I always wished he'd live for himself, but it's no use. He's always sacrificed himself for others' happiness. Today, when the young master's mother's maid came, I felt anger because his mother only lets him visit her for important matters.

That's why the young master devoted himself to the company. Even if he knew his mother didn't care about him, he never gave up hoping to make her proud...
While I was lost in thought, a convoy of black cars bearing the Su family crest arrived. I knew that the young master's mother had come.

When Su Ming'er arrived at the villa, an old man with gray hair, dressed in a butler's uniform, stopped in front of her. It was Donald, the Shun family's butler. He smiled and said calmly, "Do you need anything?"
The maid stepped forward and spoke with a haughty tone, "We're here to see the young master."
Donald responded steadily, "I'm sorry, but the young master is currently asleep and does not wish to see any visitors."
The maid retorted, her voice sharp, "Do you know who's in the car? She's Miss Su, from the Su family. Are you trying to cause trouble for the Shun family?"
Donald replied with the same calmness, "I am merely following my master's orders."
The maid was about to explode in anger, but Su Ming'er's cold voice interrupted, "Enough."
Then, she stepped out of the car gracefully, her gaze cold as she addressed Donald, "Tell Alex that I've come to see him. I don't think he'll stay asleep after hearing that."
Donald responded, his expression unchanged, "I'm sorry, Miss, but the young master instructed me not to allow anyone from the Su family into the villa."
Her face froze for a moment, then she scowled. Does he really want to kick us out? she thought. But instead of replying, she said coldly, "Then forgive me for my rudeness." At that moment, five men dressed in black stepped forward, ready to overpower Donald, when a voice from inside said, "Donald, let them in."
"Yes, young master."

Alex's POV
I was taking a nap in the garden when the sound of cars woke me up. Due to my heightened senses, I had improved hearing and vision. I activated the camera to see who it was. It was her, that wretched woman. The moment I saw her on the screen, a fierce anger surged within me, a burning desire to tear her apart into a thousand pieces. She was one of those who made my life a living hell. And worst of all, she was Lin Fan's godmother.
When Lin Fan's family was slaughtered, she saved him because she was his mother's friend. She helped him, sent him abroad, took care of everything until he grew stronger and returned to China. She gave him all the motherly love that should have been mine. She even helped him destroy my company.
Donald's voice snapped me out of my thoughts: "Young master, they are waiting for you in the guest hall."
I took a deep breath and replied coldly, "Alright, I'll be down soon."

Su Ming'er's POV
I entered the guest hall and sat down, waiting to see Alex. I hadn't seen him for over five years. He always bothered me, wanting to see me, but I never wanted to meet him because he reminded me of the person I hated the most. I knew I was being foolish, letting my anger control me, but I could never love him like I loved my other son, and I didn't think I ever would.
Alex's voice broke through my thoughts, cold as ice: "What brings you here, Mrs. Su?"
I looked up and met his eyes. His eyes were lifeless, like the eyes of a dead fish. Those eyes that were once so full of life five years ago... Where had they gone?
"We need to talk."
Alex stood by the door, as if he didn't want to come any closer. "Sorry, but I have nothing to say to you."
I spoke more firmly, "Why did you give up the position of heir?"
He responded with lethal coldness, "Mrs. Su, my business is none of your concern."
"Did you notice? It seems you've started calling me by my name, Alex."
"Yes, because you don't deserve a title like 'Mother' anymore."
I felt a pang in my heart, but I hid it behind a mask of coldness. "It seems you're upset because I didn't give you time, so you've started acting childishly."
He shrugged indifferently. "People always misunderstand me, and I'm not fond of explaining."
"Is that why you wanted to sell the villas and your shares in the companies? Do you want to leave the business world to live a reckless life?"
His voice grew even colder. "Mrs. Su, my business is none of your concern. Mind your own affairs. If there's nothing else, Donald, please escort the guests out."
I struggled to keep my composure. "It seems you're not in the mood to talk. When you calm down, come and talk to me."
He smiled with a cold sneer. "Let me guess, you want to talk to me about your adopted son who's coming back from abroad, and you want me to take care of him?"
I was shocked. How did he know about Lin Fan? I hadn't told anyone about him. "It seems you've done some investigation. Don't tell me you're jealous because I took care of him."
His cold response was something I'd never seen before. "Sorry to disappoint you, Mrs. Su, but I no longer care. So let me tell you something: screw you, screw him, and screw everyone else. So please, leave me alone. Just being in the same room with you makes me want to vomit. So, please leave."
"Donald, escort them out."
Something inside me shattered. For the first time, he cursed at me. The boy who used to call me 'Mom' was now calling me by my name. The child who once sought my love no longer cared about me. I should have been happy that he no longer cared, but why did I feel this deep pain, as if I was going to lose him forever? No, calm down, Su Ming'er. He's just angry. It seems he's just jealous because of Lin Fan. Yes, nothing else. There's no way he doesn't love me anymore. After a few days of rest, he'll ask to see me, and everything will go back to normal.
I rose slowly from my seat. "Alright, I'll leave now. Take care of yourself."
