" You know, it's you're just better off being yourself and less caring about what other people say because if you change because of them, you're just living your life for them instead of yourself. That's why I listen less or care less about what people say to me or about me", Liel stayed. " I love your style", Lian smiled at her and she blushed a little. Still, he noticed it. Chapter 1 - Her story...

Finally having some spare time to rest after another series of packing and arranging, Teni sighed as she allowed herself to fall tiredly on her bed. She had just finished arranging her things and cleaning up her room in preparation for school, which she was about to resume in two days time. Gosh! She really missed school and probably waiting for the adventures contained in the upcoming new term of the session. It was the third term of the session, a promotional term, the term that will get her out of secondary school because right then she was in SSS3 class. She was a bit excited because she would be done with school at least that particular stage will be done for but then she was going to miss the fun and gist. She was a senior who loved reading so much.....

Teni had other hobbies and talents asides from reading, some of which included singing. She had a very nice voice which was as smooth, soul warming and lovely as her mom's. She composed, wrote and sung her own songs by herself and it was beautiful perhaps entertaining for those who she let listen to her voice because she was kinda like a shy type. Music, that was one of the things she had passion for. But there was one thing not much people knew about her and that was the fact that she could dance. Teni was a dancer in secret though she never showed anyone that skill but she was very good at it, it came as a gift from birth but she stopped dancing in public at five years old when her leg got dislocated and a bit useless for a while. She had severe leg pains which just couldn't stop as they came back every three or four months.

Not even her family had the chance to see her dance again but she explored her talent in secret so anytime her leg fumbled, she would endure the embarrassment herself, the least being that she was alone. Whenever she felt sad, all she had to do was cheer herself up with her talents. First she will start by listening to good music, then from humming to slow movements of her body according to the rhythm and before she knew it she was dancing, it always brought a smile to her face....

Alright, älright! Enough about talents! Let's talk about family now.

Teni Harts was a young teenage girl of fourteen years old, dark skinned in complexion and very beautiful. She had dark brown eyes and long brown hair. She probably got her complexion from her dad who was also dark. She was dark but not really really dark or maybe not black. The fair human in the family of three was her mom, Ivy Harts who was very beautiful and a smart lady as well, married to David; a young man in his mid thirties and a rich billionaire. He was young but he had been married for 18 years and had a 17 year old child, looking at him, you wouldn't even realise he was married neither will anyone when it came to his wife. The young couple were blessed with just one child, a girl and that was Teni

The girl they were so much in love with.

Teni loved to use her Nigerian native name not because her dad came from Nigeria but because she loved the meaning of her Yoruba name. David was from Nigeria, his dad's birthday country but also from USA, where his mom resided. Ivy on the other hand was from New York City.

Recently, Teni had just received some good but sad news and it contained the fact that she would be attending a new school.
