Chapter 115: Get Out of Our Academy
"Darn you, fatso! Cnm!" Dai Mubai roared loudly.
Boom! Ma Hongjun's mind went blank.
Having been raised by Flender since childhood, Ma Hongjun, an orphan, always held an idealistic view of his biological parents whom he never met. He hated anyone insulting his parents the most.
Hearing Dai Mubai's vulgar words, Ma Hongjun's eyes turned red with fury, his face contorted with rage. "Dai Mubai! I damn your ancestor!"
Boom! The soul power in the hotel room surged as the two, each pained by the other's words, charged at each other again, their faces full of anger, each wishing to kill the other.
"Third soul skill, Gravity Increase!" Zhao Wuji's voice suddenly rang out. The next second, a mountainous pressure descended on Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun, who were about to unleash their full power, pinning them to the ground, unable to move.
Zhao Wuji then approached them, and tapped a few points on their bodies, sealing their soul power. "Ah San, use your Blue Silver Grass to restrain them." He turned to Tang San, instructing him to act.
Without a word, Tang San used his first soul skill, wrapping Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun into dumplings with his Blue Silver Grass. To prevent them from acting dangerously, he also stuffed a ball of Blue Silver Grass into their mouths.
After finishing, Tang San and Zhao Wuji stepped back. "You two, reflect on your actions here!" Flender and Yu Xiaogang glared at their disciples, clearly displeased, and then led the others out of the room.
...
In the next room, Flender and Yu Xiaogang looked grim. The other teachers, Tang San, and Oscar sat quietly, waiting for them to speak first.
"Xiaogang, how should we handle this situation?" Flender asked Yu Xiaogang.
Yu Xiaogang shook his head, also at a loss. Last night's events were too fantastical, and he felt overwhelmed by the sudden changes. Su Yun turned out to be his ex-girlfriend Bibi Dong's disciple, and Dai Mubai's fiancée Zhu Zhuqing was now with Su Yun? "Why would Zhu Zhuqing, a member of the Zhu family from the Star Luo Empire, be with Su Yun from the Spirit Hall?" Yu Xiaogang wondered.
"Now is not the time to worry about that girl," Flender said. "Our team's problem is the most serious. These two have turned against each other. How can we lead a team like this?"
Flender, frustrated, punched the wall. The students and teachers of Shrek Academy had clearly heard the exchange between Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun. Their words were harsh, devoid of the brotherhood they once shared.
Flender's goal was to lead his students to win the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Competition. But now, they hadn't even started yet and were already stuck.
The other teachers were also silent. They had high hopes for Ma Hongjun and Dai Mubai's talents but never expected such a situation. A simple night out had led to an unfortunate encounter with the Spirit Hall.
As the atmosphere in the room grew tense, Tang San stood up. "Master, Headmaster, I have a different opinion."
Seeing Tang San stand up, Flender and Yu Xiaogang looked at him in surprise. "What's your opinion, Ah San?" Flender encouraged Tang San to speak.
The other teachers' eyes also turned to Tang San. Tang San said, "I believe that the girl named Zhu Zhuqing isn't truly with Su Yun. What she said to Mubai last night wasn't sincere."
Tang San's decisive tone surprised Zhao Wuji and Yu Xiaogang. To an outsider, it seemed as if Tang San knew Zhu Zhuqing personally.
"Go on, Ah San," Yu Xiaogang said.
In the academy, only Yu Xiaogang, Flender, and Dai Mubai knew Tang San's true identity, so Yu Xiaogang addressed him differently than before.
Tang San nodded slightly and continued, "Teacher, as you mentioned last night, Su Yun has transformed from an ordinary soul master into the disciple of the Pope of the Spirit Hall. You also mentioned that you once intended to take Su Yun as a disciple, but he refused. Do you think his character is still the same as before?"
Yu Xiaogang shook his head. Harborring resentment towards Su Yun, he said, "Su Yun is a naturally rebellious kid, very arrogant, and doesn't know how to behave. Now that he's risen so high, his attitude must be even more arrogant than before. Last night, his demeanor in front of me was clearly showing off his status as the Pope's disciple."
Yu Xiaogang chuckled, "But his becoming the Pope's disciple is purely due to his spirit's talent. When it comes to the understanding of Blue Silver Grass soul power, he is not even one ten-thousandth as knowledgeable as me. When his cultivation stalls and his true nature is exposed, the Spirit Hall will eventually kick him out."
Tang San smiled and said, "Exactly. I believe that Su Yun could only control Zhu Zhuqing by leveraging the power of the Spirit Hall, essentially bullying her into submission. Zhu Zhuqing's association with Su Yun is nothing but superficial. Last night's encounter between you and them, in my opinion, was just a coincidence. But for Zhu Zhuqing, trapped in the Spirit Hall's influence, it was an opportunity to motivate Mu Bai."
"To prevent the Spirit Hall from harboring murderous intentions against Mu Bai, a prince of the Star Luo Empire, she had to speak in contradictions to confuse Su Yun and the others. If Zhu Zhuqing really lost all feelings for Mu Bai, why didn't she just let the Spirit Hall take Mu Bai and the teacher away? Why let them go?"
Tang San's analysis made sense to everyone in the room. Even Flender's glasses sparkled with agreement. Indeed, Dai Mubai was a prince of the Star Luo Empire. If Zhu Zhuqing had genuinely switched her allegiance to Su Yun, she could have handed the Shrek team over to Prince Xue Qinghe on charges of treason. Instead, they did nothing and simply left.
This move was more like Zhu Zhuqing intentionally acting this way, letting the arrogant Su Yun believe he had won Zhu Zhuqing over. In reality, she still held a glimmer of hope for Dai Mubai.
"Good analysis, Ah San," Flender nodded. "You'll handle reconciling Mu Bai and Hong Jun. Your task is to bridge their gap."
Yu Xiaogang also looked at Tang San, nodding, "It's up to you, Ah San."
After agreeing, Tang San went to the adjacent room. About two hours passed, and Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun emerged, faces showing signs of a fight, but not seriously injured – it was clear they had just had a physical brawl without using soul power.
In front of Yu Xiaogang and Flender, Tang San explained, "It's better to drain than to dam. I let them fight first, then shared the conclusion with them."
Letting them vent their emotions before reasoning with them proved effective. Now, Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun's eyes held a hint of embarrassment when looking at each other, especially Dai Mubai.
Having heard Tang San's analysis, Dai Mubai began to realize that his fiancée might have been under duress from the Spirit Hall, forced to be with Su Yun. Dai Mubai, aware of Yu Xiaogang's opinion of Su Yun and recalling Su Yun's contemptuous attitude towards him last night, started believing Zhu Zhuqing was innocent.
"Mu Bai, now that you've realized, you should know that your fiancée is carrying a heavy burden for you. From today onwards, you shouldn't go to those kinds of places. You must strive hard to catch up."
"Frankly, Su Yun's talent is indeed a bit higher than yours, and now that he has the Spirit Hall as his backing, you can't compete with him in terms of resources and talent. What you need to do now is to work hard. Otherwise, not only will you lose the chance to win the throne, but whether you can win back your woman is also uncertain," Yu Xiaogang advised Dai Mubai.
Dai Mubai listened without showing any dissatisfaction. In his eyes, there was a flicker of determination. "Teacher, rest assured, I will one day take Zhuqing back from that bastard!" His hatred for the Spirit Hall deepened.
Tang San, standing behind Dai Mubai, placed a hand on his shoulder. They exchanged a glance, understanding that they shared a common goal - to defeat the Spirit Hall.
Flender then turned to Ma Hongjun, "Hongjun, from today onwards, you must not slack off, understand?"
"Yes," Ma Hongjun, who was picked up by Flender, responded immediately, knowing he couldn't disobey.
Ma Hongjun and Dai Mubai exchanged glances, seeing the apology in each other's eyes. "Sorry, fatty, about today…"
"Dai Boss, don't mention it, I was the one who spoke out of turn first…"
Their misunderstanding resolved, Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun smiled at each other, reminiscent of their past days fighting side by side.
"Good. Since both of you have come to your senses, last night's incident turned out to be a blessing," Yu Xiaogang said.
Flender asked, "Aren't we heading to Blue Tyrant Academy today? When do we leave?"
"Right now," Flender replied.
Shrek Academy's group left the hotel, with Flender painfully paying the room and repair fees, and headed towards Blue Tyrant Academy. En route, a shadowy figure watched them from the dark, murmuring, "Just as Master Su Yun said, this group is indeed planning to join Blue Tyrant Academy. Heh, time to activate our sleeper agent…" The figure then vanished into the shadows.
...
At the gate of Blue Tyrant Academy, Shrek's team finally arrived. The gate, made of white marble, wasn't as magnificent as the orthodox Heaven Dou Royal Academy but was still impressively elegant. Surprisingly, this academy accepted only commoners and no nobles.
At the gate, they saw eight golden characters: "Blue Tyrant Advanced Soul Master Academy." The characters seemed to dance like dragons.
Yu Xiaogang frowned slightly, feeling a sense of familiarity with these words, but couldn't recall why.
Inside, Zhao Wuji had already reached the reception room. Along the way, they saw many advertisements for Blue Tyrant Academy, recruiting both teachers and students.
The elderly receptionist came out, glanced at Flender and the others dressed like commoners, and thought, "Hmm? Why is there such an ugly kid? Well, the principal said to accept all commoners."
"If you're here to enroll, please follow me," the old man gestured to Flender's group, who promptly followed.
Blue Tyrant Academy was established in the midst of a forest, a testament to its profound background. "Sir, what's the identity of your principal? To build an academy in Heaven Dou City and even avoid trouble from the royal family of the Heaven Dou Empire, is your principal a Titled Douluo-level powerhouse?" Yu Xiaogang asked, following the elder.
Flender tensed up, not wanting to ruin their effort.
The elder chuckled, "Our principal's identity is indeed extraordinary, but it's not something you can know now. It's difficult for ordinary people even to meet her. When you get the chance, you'll know."
Yu Xiaogang nodded, not pressing further. Flender sighed in relief that the elder didn't reveal Liu Erlong's identity.
After a while, they reached a spired building. "This is where we test teachers and students. Please wait here; I'll call our test teachers," the elder said.
Four teachers came out shortly after. The man leading them, around forty, wore a black robe and had a stern expression. His black hair curled on either side of his face.
As soon as he stepped out, he pointed at Yu Xiaogang and suddenly shouted, "You, get out of our academy!"
