The goal is to get to level 3 in 45 days and I will say I am very smart with not planning how to achieve it. To much planning can hinder the ability of figuring things out on the way and improvising, it is a great ability since I am taking an unknown path so...no use planning I guess.
I was the first one to wake up, the sun was just coming out and I was already making my way to my new p.r.i.v.a.t.e training area. Last night I couldn't help but think about my disadvantages , I'm not talking about my no moonra situation, I think I've accepted it. In order for me to level up I have to absorb plenty of mana enough for my magic that is divided into four, that's not all. I also have to train not only water but ice and lightning cause if I only focus on water then I can never level up.
"Ah finally here" this place is perfect for not only my water magic but for my ice magic as well. First things first, mana, I sat near the river to begin absorbing mana. I closed my eyes and I focused on feeling the energy around me. I began absorbing the mana having to not loose concentration while doing it, it took me two hours to fully absorb and digest the mana while melting in the warm tingling sensation it gave me. I began with creating a small bean size ball made of water, I wasn't controlling the water in the river. I summoned
the water from my hand to create a small bean size ball and fired it towards a tree.
Something amazing followed, it wasn't that noticeable but it did damage like a water blast would do only this was a small one. " You took five minutes to perform that weak attack, exactly how do you plan on showing off to that boy " said Calestia causing me to blush " I don't plan to show off and I'm doing my best okay, you haven't done anything to help me ". " You want my help huh? Okay then" mnh? Calestia transformed to her original form , his gorgeous eyes glowed and when he opened his mouth a navy shining ball came out. " This is the answer to your problems" the shinning ball wiggled then turned into a frog . It looked like it was staring at me but I couldn't tell cause there were no eyes or mouth. It started to do something with its head like it was taunting me , then started to jump around with a little more speed than a normal frog and maybe it's because I'm still a child but I read its body language that said" catch me if you can".
" You want my help right? Go and stand in the middle of the river where you'll use the small water blast to attack this little friend of mine" said Calestia and I finally understood his plan. This will help shorten the time it takes for me to do an attack , It'll force me to adjust to the frog's speed. I did as he instructed and stood in the middle of the river, it's not too wide and the water is not too high. I spent the entire day trying to fire the water blasts at the frog while it jumped around and stopped for a bit to taunt me. The thing was amazing being able to jump on water and not sink in it, not a single water blast was able to hit it but I wasn't discouraged cause the time I took to prepare an attack was lessened. " Okay you'll continue again tomorrow, what you should do now is absorb mana then we go back " said Calestia, again ?
He explained or sort of explained" You eat about two to three times a day , so why not absorb mana twice a day plus you now that you're a special case" I trusted his judgement and so i sat myself down and started absorbing. I frown when I felt like my body was being pierced by a thousand needles but I heard Calestia tell me " don't stop, surpass your body's limit cause with your current pace you'll never jump to the first level in these 45 days". I forced myself to endure the pain and continued absorbing the mana, I cannot fall behind and cannot stop just because of a small pain. Just the thought of Victor's and that brown haired boy's satisfied face with my failure made me push on.
I ended up absorbing mana for an hour more, I could've tried to continue but it was starting to get dark and so I had to go back. " As soon as you are able to get froggy you'll have to begin with ice magic then lightning so you can level up. Your storage power will not stop you from levelling up because it's a support magic and there isn't much to practice you just store things that's all" I nodded but still couldn't help but mumble that storage power is cool and very rare, I don't like how he described it...
" The food looks delicious grandma" said Zoe her mouth already dripping with saliva " you say that everyday but tell me about what you did today" said grandma. " Well grandma unlike someone who is losing her mind me and Zoe were doing something REAL , like hunting with our REAL ' Magic' " said Arya causing me to roll my eyes. " Arya I think it's only right for a normal person to mind his/her own business. If I'm losing my mind why is it affecting you? " Grandma slammed the table for the first time since I came here , in fact I've never seen her react like this. " I am tired of the nonsense going on between you two, whatever it is don't bring it in my dining table"

" From now on , you focus on what you're doing . I don't want anyone meddling in someone's else's business" I smiled at her words and stared at Arya tauntingly who glared in return...
I sent two water blasts from each of my hands towards froggy in which he dodged them with no effort. I have improved a lot from yesterday's improvement, the time it takes to prepare is almost on par with froggy's speed and I'm learning how to not use too much energy when attacking.
I sent two water blasts from my left hand but I secretly prepared another on my right hand. I didn't put much concentration and control on the other two then sent them towards the jumping frog. It dodged easily and rejoiced because it still thinks I can only make two at a time, with gritted teeth I fired the third water blast and it hit the frog on it leg while it tried to jump away at the last second.
Even though my water blasts were very small they were easier to control and used less energy, [bam] I finally got it ! But just as I was about to rejoice the wounded leg wiggled while forming back to its normal form, what happened next though, made my jaw drop it started to jump around at a speed that was twice from its previous speed. Are you kidding me right now " you're very good at wasting your time, this is it's real speed so if I was you I'd quickly start before it gets dark " said Calestia and I couldn't help but think of the hours I spent just thinking I'm almost there but then this comes up.
" Can't you see that I am shaping you to be the best among your human peers. I AM A SPIRIT BEAST I DON'T TOLERATE INFERIORITY, you are very lucky to even witness me helping or getting involved with you so enough with your winning" roared Calestia causing my body to shake in fear, his voice thundered through the area he looks angry very. very. angry.
He is right, in fact he is the reason I'm still alive and he is the one that gave me hope, I shouldn't let him down like this. I really am winning aren't I. But he'll see, by tomorrow I have to make sure I get the frog so that I can start with my ice magic otherwise I won't be able to get to the first level. I can't let him and myself down.
