" Ahahahaha I'm Zara and I'm loving your jokes " said the boy clearly not believing that I don't have a moonra. I really don't blame him, I'll definitely go down in history for being the first person to be able to use magic without a moonra. Atleast I know that his name is Zara " it's not a joke , I really don't have a moonra, no ring, no book, no necklace, no bracelet ,no nothing ,you can check for yourself" I told him and his eyes scanned me from top to bottom and he gasped when he realised I didn't have anything that resembled a moonra.
" I-hu? But how and why do you have blue hair then? And what are you saying about controlling your magic !?" Shouted Zara and I can see that this was stressing him out , to people who haven't witnessed what I can do this isn't logic. " My appearance is like this because I have magic , for quite some time I thought I was a magic disabled freak but I was wrong. Instead of needing a moonra to cast spells I'm able to control my magic with no restrictions" I stepped away from him planning to demonstrate what I'm saying cause I can see he isn't believing a word I'm saying.
I created a simple water blast that was now the size of a grape and fired it towards a tree, now that I'm in level 2 I've learnt to use less mana and perform an attack with ease thanks to Calestia. The water blast exploded causing a large chunk to be missing on the tree's body , it wasn't a big tree so that's why the demage was big.
" You- you really? You aren't lying so wow you really don't have a moonra?" Asked Zara and I nodded feeling a small sense of pride well up in my chest. He is now looking at me with interest and curiosity " okay , okay good then it's good to see you won't be a burden. You Remember our deal right?" , " How can I forget ? You need my help in killing 5 level 3 Inferno boars " he clapped his hand glad that I still remember, does he really think that my upstairs isn't working.
" We should start going then, also good thinking for bringing a backpack cause it won't only be the inferno boars we may see
" I ignored him and started walking ahead , he hurried his steps behind me and asked" did I say something wrong ?" Ugh , I can't believe I partly trained with dedication for this nonsense.
After walking for a few minutes we walked into a scene, a bear with red eyes was badly wounded. It looked like it was going to die any moment now, the bear had gashes on its entire body " level 3 metal claw bear. Such a strong beast was left in such a state. I don't even want to meet the beast that wounded it like this" said Zara and I was behind him one hundred percent. " Use your water blast to kill it , it's in pain so killing it will be showing it kindness and you can take it's level 3 mana stone" I rejoiced at his words and immediately fired three water blasts towards its head that was twice that of a normal bear's head.
I went to carve out the mana stone that was light silver in colour while Zara took out his knife that was more expensive than my kitchen knife. He chopped off the big silver claws with a huge smirk and eyes shining like he was already seeing the money he was going to make out of them. I didn't complain cause my backpack isn't big enough to fit those big claws. " See I told you that you'd benefit, now let's continue onwards before whatever monster wounded this bear comes back".
We kept on coming across beasts that were wounded just like the metal claw bear and of course I took the mana stones and Zara chopped and cut off the valuable parts on those beasts. I now have 4 level 2 mana stones and 3 level 3 mana stones, it's obvious that we're going to the direction that this beast who badly wounded these beasts went to. Sadly we can't change our direction cause Zara's crystal is also telling us that continuing this way will lead us to inferno boars.
After walking for a bit we entered a part of the forest that was fogy and a bit dark. " Be careful, it must be the doing of the Beast that left us those goods" said Zara while his ring glowed indicating he was ready for anything to happen. We continued walking with caution. I froze when I suddenly heard a whistling sound " watch out , Dark magic, dark door circle" said Zara placing me behind him while his casted a familiar spell. What looked like long 10 centimetres sharp spikes disappeared in the black circle.
We couldn't see our enemy so it's tricky , another whistling sound was heard luckily Zara's dark circles hasn't been cancelled. He only had to move the circle with the direction of his hand " it's not real, it was fake" he exclaimed " you mean the spikes are fake?" He shook his head " the first one wasn't but this one is !" This just really tricky. We heard whistling sounds coming from different directions , I'd be a problem for Zara to keep supplying energy to his magic circle. He has good offensive and defensive spells , I can't have him waste his energy .
" Cancel your magic circle, I got this!" He was doubtful but I wasn't gonna wait for him , I created my aqua shield that protected the both of us causing him to cancel his spell. The three spikes were fake cause if they weren't fake then they would've bounced back. " How long can you keep it up?" he asked , i was going to answer but then we heard other whistling sounds keeping from multiple directions. " Don't! Just trust me on this one" I stopped him seeing that he was going to do something, probably thinking I won't be able to handle it.
Out of the many spikes who were brown in colour four bounced back towards the direction they came from causing Zara to give me an acknowledging side eye. We heard a thud coming from the four directions meaning the beasts were wounded. We don't know if there's more of them , Zara clicked his tongue " we only have to get rid of this fog then these weaklings will be exposed, it's amazing that level 2 beasts managed to leave level 3 powerful beasts in such a state. I'll definitely get a lot of money from them" he laughed then casted his dark door circle and added another layer on it that sucked the fog in it leaving the beasts exposed. Oh I'm wrong there were no beasts exposed , just trees leaving me thinking that we're crazy. Did they run or is it another trick.
