Sylvia quietly groaned, as she slowly crawled into consciousness. The room tasted stale mixed chemicals, she furrowed her eyebrows, trying to make sense out of her foggy brain. Pressure sat on her forehead which caused her to wince.
With her fingers massaging her forehead. The last thing she could remember was seeing Leonardo's face. Her mind awoke at once, as she widened her eyes, sitting up. The chair just beside her creaked slightly, she turned her neck.
A smile greeted her. "You are finally awake, you gave me a scare" he said, gently cross-checking her body with care. His baggy eyes rested on her forehead. "Looks like the head still hurts."
She left her mouth slightly opened as she fixed her attention on him. His voice mixed with a husky feeling of tiredness that brought out mixed feelings within her. The bags under his eyes were hardly unnoticeable. His jacket laid at the end of the bed.
