Marcello was beyond shocked when he received the urgent news from Bruno his brother's consigliere. Lorenzo was getting married!
He was both in shock and utter disbelief after hearing it, but when an entire entourage from Luca's team had come to escort him back to Cefalu he knew it wasn't a joke.
Lucia's head was on his Lap and she was fast asleep curled into a ball. He had fucked her senseless the previous night while trying to get rid of Celeste's face from his head.
However, as soon as she fell asleep, he had taken a scalding hot shower to wash off since he felt uncomfortable.
He knew this wasn't a mild crush anymore or some fleeting lustful thought anymore because he couldn't get her out of his mind. Somehow she had gotten under his skin in a way he couldn't understand.
He couldn't wait to see her again, but now he had to find out what the hell was happening and why Lorenzo didn't tell him about the wedding until this morning.

Celeste held Uncle Theo's arm in a vice grip as they walked down the aisle amid a sea of eager eyes and this caused the older man to chuckle. "Just say the word Dove and we'll take the next flight back to New York right now" he whispered.
"Sorry about it Uncle, it's my first time" Celeste whispered. Uncle almost barked out a laugh at that. This was something his sister Selena would've said too in this situation.
His eyes scanned the area for her until he spotted her sitting beside an older woman wiping her tears surreptitiously. He offered her an encouraging smile and a wink before turning his attention to his niece who was a second away from amputating his arm.
"Easy Dove I still need that arm for the ladies" he teased but it only made her squeeze tighter which got him worried. He knew of his niece's one-sided love for his CEO and had not wanted to discourage her then since it kept motivating her to get a better degree.
Somehow he felt that she would outgrow it, but receiving an impromptu wedding invitation had shocked him. Worse was that his sister seemed okay with it which wasn't a surprise since she always did whatever Celeste wanted.
It was a pleasant surprise she didn't grow up spoiled.
"Uncle does this aisle feel extremely long to you?" Celeste whispered,
"Don't worry Dove you're doing just fine, keep your eyes on your husband he will soon turn around now" Uncle Theo whispered back as they walked in rhythm to the hymns.
And just as he said, Lorenzo turned right on cue and his eyes widened slightly. Uncle Theo knew a love-struck man when he saw one because that had been how his sister's husband had always looked at his sister and theirs was a happy marriage until his sad passing.
He could rest easy knowing his niece was marrying someone who loved her so much that his eyes professed his love before his mouth spoke
Lorenzo couldn't breathe as he watched her take each delicate step as her Uncle guided her. She was a vision in white, spelling out purity and innocence in bold letters. One he was about to taint.
She was worth it even if it condemned his soul forever. He couldn't see much of her face since the veil was expertly woven to conceal it, but blood rushed to his ears and he felt like a child eager to unbox a present.
They both stopped in front of him, and the older man hesitated a bit when he looked at his niece with a proud smile on his face before handing her over to Lorenzo.
As soon as her slender gloved hand settled into his, Lorenzo let out the breath he didn't know he was holding. It was time for his plans to get set into motion.
Celeste felt her nervousness melt away like freshly warmed butter as soon as his large hand enclosed hers. She had never felt safer than in that moment. The man she loved was finally hers.
She watched him repeat his vows in that sexy voice of his. He said each sentence clearly like it was a promise he didn't want her to forget and that made her giddy.
She said hers too, her voice ringing loud and clear as she vowed to be with him till death parted them.
Lorenzo carefully lifted her veil, and there was a sharp intake of breath when her face came into his view. Celeste offered him a shy smile, totally disoriented by his intense gaze.
"I truly do not deserve you Cara Meu" he whispered, as his best man came forward with the rings, a proud smile on his face.
However on the little cushion were two rings, a breathtaking diamond piece and a simple gold band with an engraving on it.
Lorenzo slipped the diamond ring on her ring finger before bringing it to his lips, then he took the gold band, and while holding her gaze bowed slightly before putting it on her little finger.
Immediately he did that, half of the audience stood and bowed including the best man. Celeste was confused as she discovered that the majority were dressed in
black. Was this a funeral? Or did they receive a different color code?
Snapping back to the important moment Isabella nudged her slightly to remind her that it was her turn to place a wedding ring on her husband. With utmost care, Celeste placed the simple gold band on his ring finger too.
After the ring was in place the officiator ordered them to share their first kiss as a married couple.
Celeste blushed as memories of Lorenzo's kiss played through her head. They had been so busy preparing for the wedding that they hadn't gotten time to be intimate again.
From there her thoughts spiraled out of control as she thought of the night to come when she was going to learn what her husband's touch felt like.
She was still flitting through random thoughts when Lorenzo's lips captured hers putting a blank sheet over her errant thoughts.
Lorenzo kept a tight leash on his self-control as he lost himself in the taste of her. Her lips were like warm honey melting into his mouth. His hand flayed at the nape of her neck as he teased her lips open.
Finally, she parted her lips properly and his tongue slid in, teasing her with each masterful stroke. A soft moan escaped Celeste's mouth and penetrated the fog clouding Lorenzo's thoughts, and he carefully ended the kiss as he realized that they were in the church.
However, with one look at his wife, his control nearly snapped. She looked at him with such unbridled lust with those swollen lips slightly parted. He could feel his loins stir at the sight and suppressed a groan.
With care, he helped her down the altar amidst cheers from his family and the mafia families in attendance. White rose petals filled the air as the wedding songs chimed from the speakers.
However, it was time for the tough part. Signing the marriage certificate which was in his name. He had smartly skipped mentioning his name during the vows and was glad his wife had been too nervous to notice, but now he had to prevent her from seeing the name on the certificate.
