Lorenzo knew something was off the moment the car sped away. He always trusted his guts, and for some reason, he wanted to turn back and head to the house.
'Get yourself together, you have an entire mafia body to rule over' he cursed inwardly tugging on his tie to ease the pressure, but that nagging sensation didn't leave him alone.
He quickly called Bruno his consigliere, "What's new?"
"Everyone has arrived Boss, they are waiting for orders" he replied smartly.
"And..." Lorenzo queried, he knew the tone Bruno had used, it meant something was wrong.
" Information came in, Galileo the former boss was killed by Pietro by poisoning, he kept feeding him dimethylmercury which is deadly but a slow poison in small quantities which was why his death seemed less suspicious"
"Porca puttana! That worthless pig" Lorenzo swore, His uncle had to be the devil's incarnate.
