Qiao Xi walked over to the cobblestone path on the other side of the swimming pool before she answered the phone.
"Hello, good day."
"Is this Miss Qiao? I'm a staff member at the Civil Affairs Bureau. The last time you visited us for service, our system encountered a problem. We lost all the data from that day," the person on the line explained earnestly, very politely.
"So... what should we do?" Qiao Xi asked softly.
"If you have time, you could come over again. Alternatively, if the divorce cooling-off period has passed without collecting the divorce certificate, it is considered a withdrawal. Either party can come over to withdraw," they explained.
"Oh, that's good." Qiao Xi breathed a sigh of relief.
This wasn't a big deal.
After all, she and Mr. Huo were not going to get divorced, were they?
