The car drove all the way to the Huo family's small villa.
When Huo Xingzhou got out of the car, he saw the light was on in the master bedroom on the second floor. He lowered his eyes slightly, a small smile curving the corners of his mouth; he had told her not to wait for him if he wasn't home by ten o'clock at night.
Yet she still waited as usual.
"Old Chen, you can go back and rest."
"Sure, young master."
The driver, Old Chen, parked the car in the garage, and Huo Xingzhou entered the living room.
He took off his tie and coat with both hands and hung them on the coat rack beside him. The bouquet by the floor-to-ceiling window caught his peripheral vision; clusters of purple and blue flowers in full bloom were a delight to the eyes.
He raised his eyebrows, recognizing them as the wildflowers that were everywhere in Moon Village.
After being arranged by a city florist, they looked extraordinarily different.
