Miguel climbed out of the car, his legs feeling wobbly but his determination unwavering. Gio followed closely behind, his eyes darting back and forth as he surveyed their surroundings.
"The question is," Miguel continued as they approached the front door, "who knew about the shipment? Only a select few people had that information."
Gio nodded in agreement. "It could have been anyone. One of the guys who worked the warehouse, or maybe even someone from the crew."
Miguel stopped at the door, his hand pausing over the doorknob.
In a flash, Miguel reached for his gun and spun around, aiming it at Gio. The sudden movement caught Gio off guard, and he froze in place, his eyes widening in shock.
"You," Miguel hissed, his voice cold and deadly. "It was you who betrayed me. I knew it the moment I saw the look on your face back at the warehouse.
"Confess, Gio. Confess before I put a bullet in your skull."
