Miguel didn't want to say anything so he held her close to him and leaned in for a kiss.
"I'm not kissing you until you tell me the truth," she said which had him chuckling.
"I own you, don't forget that. When I say I want something, I will get it."
She sighed and got to her feet, pushing his hand away.
"Oh stop the tough boy act," she gritted her teeth in anger. "Isn't it enough with how you treat me? Can't you just show a little bit of vulnerability?"
He gave her a death stare before waving her away.
"You can leave. When I need you, I'll call you."
She stared at him in anger before grunting and walking out of the room, but not without banging the door in anger.
Soon, Gio entered and sat on the couch opposite his boss's bed.
"Care to talk about it?" The man asked as Miguel shook his head. But Gio wasn't about to let it slide. "Miguel…"
