She wasn't about to believe anything from this woman.
Marissa had eyes on Miguel and she had worked in the company for a long time.
She wanted Miguel to notice her and she had almost lost it when she had known Miguel was married to someone else.
Marissa was disappointed that it was Joanna who was married to the man.
Now she had her chance to go against Joanna and she wasn't about to hold back.
With an evil smile on her face, she looked at her lackeys around her before stepping close to Joanna.
"Sure, that's what you say. But we all know the real reason you've been absent. If you weren't married to the boss, you'd be out of here in a heartbeat. Some of us actually have to work to keep our jobs. But it's not like it actually matters. You can enjoy the privilege now but it's only a matter of time before you are in my bad books."
