Miguel and Gio walked into the garden as they talked about the rest of their enemies who were possibly banding against them.
Miguel was still ready to face anyone who would come up against his home.
He had ordered for his men to be on alert for any suspicious activity.
No one would come after his wife. Not while he was alive.
And for his cousin, he would deal with her when the time was right.
"While we are on the subject," gio started. "How about we…"
"I haven't sparred with anyone in a very long time," Miguel sighed. "You should do that with me."
"Oh no," laughed Gio. "I would never think of facing off against you. You are just that good. I saw what you did to your last assistant…"
"He was weak," Miguel noted. "I don't like weak people. They make me look like I'm weak and I am not."
The look Miguel gave Gio had him gulping.
