A week had passed. Machines screamed and doctors scrambled to keep the Ghost alive. Dr. Sue gripped the railing in the observation room. She, Vic, and a few others had gathered while the others attempted to capture those who'd betrayed them. After seventy-two hours, the doctors declared the time of death and left the room.
However, as Dr. Sue and Vic turned to look inside the operating room, they saw a man in pilot's gear looming over the Ghost. They both rushed to the door, but the man held it shut with his mind. He glared at them and shook his head, then turned to face the Ghost. The power in the hospital dimmed, and a ghastly voice yelled, "WAKE UP!" The Ghost's body was electrocuted by the figure until the Ghost took in a deep, long breath.
The man released his hold on the door allowing Vic and Dr. Sue inside. The man slapped the Ghost, causing the other two to draw their weapons. However, the man spoke. "I am R. D. Draper, Tuskegee Airman, and you promised to keep our story alive! GET UP! AND FIGHT BACK." Airmen Draper turned to the two just before vanishing into thin air. The two looked at each other confused, but their moment of confusion was interrupted by an earth-shaking cry of rage.
The two turned to find the Ghost standing up, eyes aglow with one red and the other halogen yellow. "WHERE ARE THEY!" he yelled. Ghost! You need to take it easy!" said Vic. However, the Ghost made his way out of the hospital, and they chased after him. As he entered the Reddick Mansion, the Irongrail armor Archie wore was inside.
The Ghost picked up the faceplate. "What did they do to him..."
"He's fine... but Ghost, you can't fight! The doctors..."
Ghost fired some of Lemuel's energy into the armor, reconfiguring it on himself. "I will uphold my oath and keep my fucking word... No matter the cost." The Ghost turned on the radio uplink and called in.
"This is Grey Ghost... Beginning Assault..."
On the front lines that had overtaken the Ottawa-Marseilles border, Sundeep's forces had begun to press their attacks, backed by the Ghost's family. However, The "Grey Ghost" exploded into the sky above them, and landed in front of his family. His landing separated the forces from their leaders, creating a panic.
Scott started to say something but the Grey Ghost socked him across the jaw. "I allowed you to fix things your way. Now, you get to pay for your sins, my way. THE FUCKING LOT OF YOU!" He threw his father away from him and raised his arm.
"It's time I show you the power I command. American Heritage + American Folklore: The 332nd Pursuit Squadron added to CV-6 Enterprise... The Redtail's Might & Enterprise's Sacrifice shall become my strength... True American Might!
Arcs of energy manipulated the armor, reconfiguring it further. Dr. Sue looked at the Ghost in shock. "He can change the armor... without touching it... with a machine or hammer." An arm-mounted crossbow was created on his raised arm, and he fired off a spirit Red-Tailed P-51 that shot through Scott's Steelgrail armor, blowing it apart. As Scott lay on the ground, it became a battle the Grey Ghost was all too familiar with.
"I see you never intended on changing your wicked ways. This blue state corrupted you. It's like I said, you want an all-white family." Said Cheryl raising her rifle.
The mouth plate retracted away from the Ghost's face. Labored breaths and rage-compressed teeth were shown to the woman. "Sorry, I don't have any heartstrings left for you to tug on." The Grey Ghost's blood boiled as the woman's words filled him with rage. "You filthy misandrist. You damned false Christian woman, playing pretend mother in public while attempting to kill me behind closed doors. I SEE YOU! I SEE YOUR GODDAMNED HATE FOR ME, AND I'LL RESPOND WITH THIS!" The Grey Ghost was visibly shaking from the rage he'd found buried deep within his core. "The day Grandma took her last breath... I looked to you, looked at you, and my soul demanded you trade her places. You verbally and mentally abused your OWN MOTHER! YOU BELITTLED PATRICIA MAY! AND YOU FUCKING CROSS ME."
The Grey Ghost marched over to his father and in a twisted turn of fate, grabbed him by the throat and lifted him into the air, eyes deadlocked on his mother. "You took my love, my fucking sanity, and demand I beg you for forgiveness? I DON'T THINK SO!" The hand around his father's throat began to tighten its grip. His sister lunged at him, to find herself caught by the armored hand of the Grey Ghost, and launched into the dirt behind their mother.
"You and your pets would do well to remember, I honed my skills in the depths of hell you all put me through."
"We... We did our best as parents... Loyal to our family..." said Scott, struggling to get the words out. However, the Grey Ghost's eyes met those of his father, a righteous fury burned deep in them.
"Loyalty? Loyalty...LOYALTY?!?! YOU WORSHIP THE FUCKING GROUND SHE WALKS ON, OBEY EACH COMMANDMENT SHE GIVES WITHOUT QUESTION. HURT ME, STOLE FROM ME.... The Grey Ghost's eyes widened in pure, seething with a god's level of rage as he stared into his father's soul. "There was... no loyalty... NO LOYALTY... NONE! NOT FROM ANY OF YOU! WHERE WAS YOUR LOYALTY WHEN YOU LET HER RIP MY MIND APART?!"
His mother grabbed his head and attempted to use her ability of mind/mental manipulative control. He dropped his father, screaming in agony as her voice twisted inside of his head. He grabbed his head, eyes bulging out in enraged distress. However, deep within him, a far louder voice rang out like that of an eldritch god, screaming out from the depths of his very soul.
"Rage, my Grey Ghost, Rage. Unleash thy full potential, in unholy, carnal wrath. SEND THEM SCREAMING INTO THE DEPTHS OF HELL!"
