Five months since arriving at the cabin…
Shortly after the four-month mark, Jared began to hunt in Detroit twice a week to conserve blood for Cora since their on-hand supply was almost gone. Cora couldn't hunt since she was heavily pregnant and needed the supply they had more.
Even though their feeding was down to roughly only four days a week and Cora only consumed four packs each of those days; the large fridge was nearly empty. Jared and Cora were forced to discuss how Cora could hunt.
Jared believed the only answer was to bring meals to her. She hated the idea. However, in her condition without the knowing as a buffer there was no way they could take her into the city. It was far too risky that someone might realize what she was. They couldn't run now this close to delivery.
