Chapter 103 - Memory Lane

Margo stared at the phone realizing that the call had disconnected. What the hell had gotten into Antione? He was being so evasive. He didn't answer any of her questions.

What did he mean that she needed separation from Revena to understand the mess her mind had become? She could still feel the pull to her fiancé even though she had gone down to the feeders. The problem was that her mind and memories weren't in agreement with that understanding.

Margo tried to think about Claude. She knew they had problems in their history but every time she tried to picture those problems; they were hazy. It felt like her mind was not her own.

These new memories were jagged snippets that gave her brief glimpses into a life she could not imagine. Every time she attempted to focus on any one piece it was snatched away viciously like she was consuming contraband. Margo didn't understand how this could be happening or how she could have possibly been mated to a filthy day walker.
