Chapter 2 - Blood Moon pt.1

[The night ends…]

I looked at the message in front of me and sighed with relief, i do not have to deal with the rest of the monsters hiding in the forest, but it says the night ended, it doesn't mean the monsters left.

I went outside and decided to make a small basic farm which roughly took me ten minutes, after that i decided to gather some animals on the fields.

Pigs,Chickens, cows, sheeps I made them all separate pens and lured them all inside. After that i got bored and decided to build some miscellaneous structures. Maybe an obelisk?.

"Meh too much work i'll just build a barn instead" So i decided to gather some materials and build them, i am not really that much inclined in design so it stone and wood i will be using.

I spent the next few hours chopping down trees and mining stone, occasionally glancing around to ensure no lurking threats were approaching. With the materials gathered, I started constructing the barn. The rhythmic sound of hammering and sawing was almost therapeutic, a stark contrast to the tension of the previous night.

The barn began to take shape, simple but sturdy. As I worked, I found myself slipping into a routine, my actions almost automatic from years of playing Minecraft. The familiarity was comforting, even if the stakes were much higher now.

By midday, the barn was complete. It wasn't anything fancy, but it would serve its purpose. I took a step back to admire my handiwork. "Not bad for a day's work," I said to myself.

With the barn done and the animals secured, I decided it was time to explore further. I needed to find more resources, especially if I wanted to upgrade my equipment. The aura-infused ore was a significant find, but without netherite, I couldn't fully utilize its potential.

I grabbed my gear and set out, heading deeper into the forest. The sun was high, casting dappled light through the canopy. The forest was eerily quiet, the only sounds being the rustle of leaves and the occasional distant growl. I moved cautiously, keeping my sword and shield at the ready.

After a while, I stumbled upon a cave entrance hidden behind some thick underbrush. It looked promising, and I decided to explore it. The air inside was cool and damp, and the sound of dripping water echoed through the darkness. I lit a torch and ventured deeper, my footsteps echoing off the stone walls.

As I delved further, the cave opened up into a vast underground chamber. Stalactites hung from the ceiling, and a subterranean river flowed through the middle. The sight was awe-inspiring, but I couldn't afford to be distracted. I had to stay focused.

I began mining the ore veins along the cave walls, collecting iron, coal, and even some redstone.

I could here the distant sounds of mobs. stirring deeper within the cave, a reminder that danger was never far away. I quickened my pace, gathering as much as I could before the inevitable confrontation.

As I chipped away at an iron vein, I heard the unmistakable hiss of a Creeper. Instinctively, I jumped back just as the explosion rocked the cave, sending shards of rock flying. I raised my shield to protect myself, the force of the blast still pushing me backward. When the dust settled, I saw a new tunnel had opened up where the Creeper had exploded.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I cautiously approached the new passage. The tunnel led to a smaller chamber, its walls glimmering with a faint blue light. My heart skipped a beat as I realized what I was looking at – diamonds.

I mined the precious gems quickly, my pickaxe striking the stone with a satisfying rhythm. With a handful of diamonds safely in my inventory, I felt a surge of hope. These would be invaluable for crafting stronger weapons and armor.

Satisfied with my haul, I decided it was time to head back to my base. The journey back through the forest was uneventful, and I was grateful for the peaceful respite. By the time I returned, the sun was beginning to set.

I quickly smelted the ores I had collected, crafting new tools and upgrading my gear. The diamonds were used to forge a sword.

"it's kind of strange i haven't seen anyone yet" I said silently as i arranged some items into my chest, A lot of people probably died the first day, too bad i guess, my life is going great at this moment though.

"Maybe i should use aura more or learn about it" How would i do that exactly?, Well trial by error of course, i could probably use it since aura depends on mental ability or something like that.

I'll try using it to enhance my body first, i closed my eyes and imagined an energy spreading through me.

But here's the thing, i felt nothing, the strange message did say my aura leand more towards the end and the nether.

So what makes the end 'The End' and what makes the Nether 'The Nether' When i thought about the nether I thought of the The wither then i thought of the nether star and when i think of the end i think of.

the Ender Dragon and the Ender Pearl. Maybe my aura is somehow tied to these elements, both of which are incredibly powerful in their own right.

I decided to experiment with this idea. I focused my thoughts on the concept of the End and the Nether, imagining the dark, otherworldly energy of the End and the fiery, chaotic energy of the Nether merging within me. Slowly, I began to feel a faint tingling sensation in my fingertips, like the spark of electricity. It was weak, but it was a start.

Encouraged, I continued to concentrate, visualizing the energy growing stronger. The tingling spread, coursing through my body and filling me with a sense of raw power. I opened my eyes and saw my hands faintly glowing with a mix of purple and red hues, like a swirling blend of Ender and Nether energy.

"Damn, i wonder how others with magic and aura feel…hmm, well whatever, i can probably increase my attack damage or just my speed with this, i wonder how much aura i can channel before i run out of mental energy or get overwhelmed."

I spent the next few hours practicing. I channeled aura into my legs, sprinting across the fields at incredible speed, then into my arms, feeling my strength amplify as I smashed boulders into smaller pieces. I noticed that maintaining the aura took a toll on my mental stamina, so I had to rest frequently to avoid exhaustion.

"Well it's night time now, well i might as wel-

[The Monsters awaken, The Night of the bloodmoon has arrived, Monster Horde, Survive the night]

This was definitely not in the game.

The sky darkened rapidly, the usual transition into night replaced by an ominous crimson hue. The message flashed before me, and my heart pounded in my chest. A bloodmoon night meant more monsters, stronger and more relentless.

I dashed into my newly built barn, barricading the doors with whatever I could find. The animals inside sensed the danger too, their fearful cries adding to the growing tension. I took a deep breath and focused, channeling the aura energy into my senses to sharpen my awareness.

Through a crack in the barn wall, I saw them emerging from the forest – a horde of zombies, skeletons, and creatures I'd never seen before. Their eyes glowed with a sinister light, and their growls sent shivers down my spine.

I quickly climbed to the loft of the barn, giving me a higher vantage point. My new diamond sword felt reassuring in my grip, its edge glinting with a faint blue light. I knew I couldn't stay hidden forever; I had to fight if I wanted to survive the night.

The first wave of monsters reached the barn, clawing and pounding at the walls. I took a deep breath and leaped down, aura-enhanced strength propelling me into the fray. My sword swung in a blur, cutting through the undead with ease. The glow from my hands intensified, each strike releasing bursts of energy that sent monsters flying.

But for every monster I felled, two more took its place. The barn doors splintered under the assault, and soon they were inside. I fought fiercely, but the horde was overwhelming. I knew I needed to use my aura more strategically.

[Yo!!, Welcome to thr BloodMoon tutorial, the blood moon is a rare event that happens once in a while, if you are weak you die, if you are strong you live and get the benefits from the Blood Moon Skeleton you have to defeat, if you kill it you will gain a blood moon bow that uses your blood to shoot arrows, but that's the most common drop]

Suddenly the message disappeared and then i saw a huge boss bar near my eyes.
