Andrew was doing his best not to laugh as Maxwell leveled a glare at the phone on the kitchen counter. He had a feeling that if Mrs. Proctor was here in the flesh that she'd be shaking in her boots. It was a strange feeling. Andrew could still feel the tears rolling down his cheeks, but Maxwell had puffed up to defend him so quickly that he couldn't help but laugh.
"Mrs. Proctor, this is my boyfriend, Maxwell Beckett." Andrew introduced and Maxwell glared at the phone.
"It's a pleasure." Maxwell's voice dripped venom and Andrew's shoulders shook.
"She's not at fault, Max." Andrew told the smaller man, but Maxwell wouldn't hear it.
"Uh, it's a pleasure to meet you too, Mr. Beckett. What…what seems to be the problem?" Mrs. Proctor asked and Andrew watched as Maxwell's lip twitched.
"Why is Andrew crying?" He demanded and Mrs. Proctor gasped.
