After we left the throne room, the gravity of the situation hit us all. The Shogun and his council had given us precise information—our destination was a desecrated battlefield where the necromancer had begun raising the dead, beyond the farmlands and rice paddies of Tatsu.
The air had been heavy with tension in the throne room, and now that we were outside, the task ahead weighed even more heavily on me. We gathered in a quiet courtyard to lay out our strategy.
I spread the map over a stone bench, and everyone gathered around. "The battlefield is here."
I started pointing to a location just beyond Tatsu's farmlands.
"That's where we'll encounter the most undead and I am assuming that's where the necromancer will be."
I look to see the others listening intently taking in everything I say.
"Father, you'll take the frontline with the paladins. The Luxite in your war hammer will burn through any undead that cross your path."
