He calmed himself down and rang the doorbell.
"Coming. " Said a voice from the other side of the door.
As the door opened a woman came from the other side, to say she was beautiful was nothing. She had raven dark hair falling down to her hips, every part of her body was shaped the right way, that very same woman looked like she was in her twenties.
She's wearing a black top with jeans, nothing covering her feet.
"Yes? What can I help you with?" She asked while standing in front of the black haired teen.
"Y-yes. " He said while he stopped looking at the woman.
"I'm here to fulfill the wish you asked ma'am. I'm the devil coming to your contract.
"
"Oh? It's the first time I see a devil ringing a doorbell instead of appearing out of a magic circle. Have they run out of budget already?" She joked while looking at a paralyzed teenager.
"I was close to your apartment and dropped by with my bike. " Said the teenager while laughing awkwardly and pointing to the bicycle standing outside.
"Is that so?" She said while looking at the teenager. "Anyway, come in.
We'll talk about what you will do for me, devil. "
"Uhh sure, okay. " Said Shinji as he entered the house of his client.
The apartment was bigger than his, every room, in contrast to the one he was living in, was separated by a door from the living room, the kitchen was on a corner also separated by a glass door from the rest. The white walls were decorated by a pink curtain and wooden floor.
Overall, it was comfy.
"Sorry if it is small, it's just a temporary place for me and my group to crash in. " Said the woman as she guided the teen inside.
"Don't worry about that, it's bigger than my place already. " The teenager responded, although he was sad it was actually true.
"So. .
. what's your job for me ma'am?" Asked Shinji as he watched the girl putting on some shoes.
"I was just bored and a lady in the streets gave me this-" She grabbed a flier, "-So I thought 'why not?', and now you're here. " Simply said the woman as she stood up.
'What a wonderful reason to make a pact with a devil…' Thought the teenager as he smiled awkwardly while watching the girl. "So, we are gonna just chill and watch Netflix or something?"
"No, we'll just go outside and roam around the city. I'm new here, you see.
" Said the woman as she approached the black haired teen and grabbed his hand. "So, come along now, that's my job for you.
"
"Okaay, if that's your job. Let's do it ma'am, I know a few places here.
" Said Shinji as he was dragged out of the house. 'Man, this will be much easier than what I thought.
' Crossed the teenager's mind.
"Don't call me 'ma'am, devil. You make me look older than what I am.
" Said the raven haired girl. "The name's Amano Yuuma, but just call me Yuuma".
And so began the first contract Shinji Kouki will have as a devil.
"Anyway devil, what's your name? I don't think you like me calling you 'devil' everywhere we go. " Said Yuuma as the couple was strolling down the center of Kuoh.
It was night time already, the people roaming around the place were either getting out of their job or just going to a bar or other place. There were also a lot of couples walking next to them.
*Huh? Oh yeah, the name's Shinji Kouki, sorry for not introducing myself before. " Said the teenager as he scratched the back of his head.
"Kouki, eh? Alright Kouki-kun, let's go to the cinema, I would like to watch a movie. " Said the girl as she grabbed the teenager's hand and dragged him around.
"Hmmm . .
. what to watch, what to watch….
" Murmured the raven haired girl as she watched the movie posters carefully, scanning for something good to see.
As the teenager started to look around, he noticed several people watching Yuuma, some of them even ogling her. He paid a second look to his client.
She was beautiful, no doubt about it, she gave a feeling of something mysterious but he didn't know what it was, her violet eyes were something he never saw before, well, even Rias's hair is something he never saw before. But this girl was different, there was a small voice in his head telling him she's dangerous, he needs to go away.
'Nah, it can't be. ' He thought while staring at her.
'She can't be harmful, she doesn't look like one that would stab you just because of it. '
As Shinji thought about that, a chill ran down his spine.
"Oh! This one might work. " Said the raven haired woman as she turned her head to his companion.
"What do you think about this eh, 'Galactic Wars: The Darkness Strikes Back'?"
She was pointing to a poster, that same poster had what looked like a guy with some spaceships behind while holding a sword of some sorts.
"Good for me I guess, they say it's a good one. " He said while shrugging.
'Seriously now, she makes a pact with a devil, let me repeat that, makes a pact with a devil only to go and watch a movie!?'
As they went to buy tickets to the movie, Shinji pulled the wallet out of his pocket. This seems to have caught Yuuma's attention as she laughed while watching him.
"My, my. Aren't you a gentleman.
" She spoke while standing in front of him. "While the thought is quite nice of you, I made the contract you see, I'll pay this time Kouki-kun.
Maybe next time I'll let you invite me somewhere. "
"Anyway, here. Let's see if we can find empty seats.
" Said Yuuma while grabbing the teenager's hand, dragging him inside the cinema.
Shinji knew somehow this was just getting started.
