Wu Jinmai's POV
Li Jin and the soldiers came back with new faces with them. I have this feeling. that it was the servants and Fang family members.
I'm glad my hunch was wrong. Li Jin jumps off the horse. I notice the wound on his arms. I walked faster and grabbed her arms.
"How did you get this?" I ask. Li Jin simply smiled.
"We arrived almost too late. There are men that barge in and kill four maids. We manage to seize them and capture seven of them. They're the culprits," Li Jin reported.
He pointed to the three men who were tied together. "A'Zu, take care of them. A'Qin, help him too. I have to check his wound," I remarked.
They bow for a bit. I dragged A'Jin on the tent. I pulled down that side of his clothes and exposed his wound.
"I'm glad it's not poisoned."
I grabbed the basin and poured the water from the kettle. I cleaned his wound and the blood that stained his white skin.
