My father steps in the middle, and it surprises me. He bows down and faces me then to Wu Jinmai.
"Your Highness, the memorial office that was burned holds the important verdicts from the emperor. The assigned officers were trusted by the late emperor. It was burned for a reason," Father stated.
My wife held her chin. I think it's her that needs to comment on this.
"If that's the case, that incident is not something that we should take lightly. Inspector Su Ming Xi, I want you to investigate this further. I want you to find out what kind of assassin group these two were. If possible, I want your office to find the missing officer," Wu Jinmai stated. Su Ming Xi bows his head.
"I understand, Your Highness," he replied.
