Shanguan Zu Jin's POV
I saw how Li Jin's face turned pale. He shakes his head. He looks at Yang Hua.
"You are lying! There's no way that Rou'er will lie to me!" he screams.
Pei Qin stands up and protects his beloved from Li Jin. He loses his control. Yang Hua bows her head and faces Li Jin.
"Milord, I had never lied to anyone. The truth is... Lady Wei Pei Rou lied about her pregnancy. She hates the empress too much because of the things we went through inside the prison," she added. She looks at me after.
I stand up and bow my head. "I am deeply sorry for the things I've done to you and your whole family. I know asking for forgiveness won't change the pain that you went through. I hope one day, you will forgive me."
I raise my head and realize that it is Yang Hua who places her hand on my shoulder. She smiled at me.
