Shanguan Zu Jin's POV
I heard how worried Xu Jiaxu's voice was. I thought I heard his statement wrongly, but he called me to come out.
I stood up and checked the reason why he was screaming outside. I glared at him but saw how he pointed his hand in a certain direction. I look down. My eyes dilated.
"Jin'er!" I exclaimed.
I crouch down and scoop her into my arms. I get inside my chamber right away. "Bring me warm water and towel!" I command.
Xu Jiaxu leaves right away. I put her down on my bed. I lie her down and check her face using the back of my palm.
"You're too cold!" I exclaimed.
She was breathing heavily. Wu Jinmai opens her lips. "I want to talk to you," she whispered. I grab her palm, and they're also freezing.
"You should've gone back to your chamber in the first place! Why did you do that!?" I scold.
